MCPD Arrest Report 12/01/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 31 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 11/30/2017:

Addie M. Guidry, 38 years of age, address: Sixth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 1:14 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Drug Court on 09/18/2017 (4 Counts)(16th Judicial)
                 Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 11/16/2017 (2 Counts)(6th Ward)
                 Resisting an Officer by giving False Information

Patrol officers initiated a stop on a vehicle in which Addie M. Guidry was an occupant. When officers made initial contact with Guidry she allegedly gave officers a false name. She was identified during the investigation and it was found that she held several active arrest warrants through the 16th Judicial and 6th Ward Morgan City Courts. Guidry was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Hebert Brown, 35 years of age, address: Seventy Nine Pines Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 7:08 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 03/11/2014 (2 Counts)

Herbert Brown was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Brown was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tara Oubre 11302017

Tara Oubre, 28 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 9:42 p.m.

Ulyess Boudreaux 11302017

Ulyess J. Boudreaux Jr., 37 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/30/2017 @ 9:42 p.m.

Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery-Strangulation
                 False Imprisonment

Patrol officers responded to the area of Brashear Ave. in regards to a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and Tara Oubre and Ulyess J. Boudreaux Jr. were identified as the subjects involved. According to reports, Oubre and Boudreaux were involved in a physical altercation and committed batteries on each other which included strangulation. When Oubre attempted to leave the residence Boudreaux allegedly prevented her from doing so. Both subjects exhibited injuries from the altercation. Oubre and Boudreaux were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

                 Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Patrol officers responded to the Morgan City High School in regards to a female being in possession of marijuana. Officers arrived and the suspected marijuana was turned over. Ty’Asia V. Johnson was identified as the subject involved. According to reports, Johnson was found to be in possession of the suspected marijuana by administrators. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kody Pederson 11282017

Kody Pederson, 21 years of age, address: Dale St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/28/2017 @ 1:09 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana W/I/T/D
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division conducted an investigation that began on November 27, 2017, in regards to a theft of firearms from the area of Dale Street. During the investigation, Nicholas E. Pederson was identified as a suspect. Evidence was uncovered during the investigation linking Pederson to the crime. The investigation continued and a search warrant was obtained for Pederson’s residence. Investigators located suspected marijuana belonging not only to Nicholas Pederson but also Kody Pederson. Additionally, investigators located items of drug paraphernalia linked to the duo. The suspected marijuana located belonging to Kody Pederson is believed to be destined to be sold. Nicholas E. Pederson and Kody Pederson were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Russell Blanchard Jr., 30 years of age, address: Allison St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/28/2017 @ 11:44 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Probation Fee on 06/06/2017

Russell Blanchard Jr. was located and arrested at the Berwick Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Blanchard was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Quijakius Johnson, 35 years of age, address: Apple St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/28/2017 @ 7:00 p.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH I CDS (Synthetic Marijuana)
                 Obstruction of Justice
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Improper Turning

Patrol officers observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of Robin St. A stop was initiated and Quijakius Johnson was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Johnson was found to be in possession of suspected synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Johnson allegedly attempted to destroy some of the narcotics by ingesting it. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

MCPD Arrest Report 11/27/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the holiday reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 135 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 11/22/2017:

Tina Weaver, 46 years of age, address: Doris St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/22/2017 @ 10:45 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of Marijuana

Tina Weaver was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on November 7, 2017, when officers came in contact with Weaver in the area of LA 182. According to reports, Weaver was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for her arrest. Weaver was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Quincy J. Johnson, 23 years of age, address: Orange St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/22/2017 @ 12:15 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 09/19/2017 (3 counts)

Quincy J. Johnson was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Johnson was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Stafford Robertson 11222017

Stafford Robertson, 35 years of age, address: Adams St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/22/2017 @ 1:00 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Bank Fraud

Stafford Robertson was located and arrested in the area of Adams St. on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division on November 20, 2017, in regards to a Fraud investigation. Robertson was developed as a suspect during that investigation. Evidence was uncovered linking Robertson to the crime and warrants were prepared for his arrest. Robertson was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jerry Boyer, 73 years of age, address: Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/23/2017 @ 2:28 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Arkansas Alley in regards to a subject lying in a yard. Officers arrived and Jerry Boyer was identified. According to reports, Boyer was found to be in an intoxicated state. Boyer became irate with officers. Boyer was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Shakettia N. Skinner, 27 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/23/2017 @ 9:40 p.m.

Charges: Driving under Suspension
                 Disregard of Traffic Controls
                 Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 09/08/2017

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Railroad Ave. fail to stop at a stop sign.  A stop as initiated and Shakettia N. Skinner was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Skinner’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension and she held an active arrest warrant through the 16th Judicial Court. Skinner was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she as booked and incarcerated.

Jim Businelle, 58 years of age, address: Carol Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/24/2017 @ 8:27 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 11/07/2017

Jim Businelle was located and arrested in the area of South Railroad Ave. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Businelle was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

                 Obstruction of Justice

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Fifth St. in the middle of both lanes of travel. A stop was initiated and Marquil Singleton was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Tristan Fabre and Colby T. Nicholas were occupants in the vehicle. According to reports, Singleton, Fabre, and Nicholas were found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. The trio were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail. Once at the Morgan Jail Nicholas was found to be in possession of 29 individual bags of suspected marijuana. The suspected marijuana is believed to be destined to be sold. Evidence was uncovered that Nicholas had concealed the suspected marijuana in a manner to avoid it being located. Singleton, Fabre, and Nicholas were booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Leon T. Guidry, 32 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/24/2017 @ 10:06 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Leon T. Guidry was identified as the subject involved. Guidry allegedly caused a disturbance and was found to be in an intoxicated state. Guidry was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Henry I. DeLeon, 23 years of age, address: Duke St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/24/2017 @ 10:36 p.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1st Offense

                 No Driver’s License

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Duke St. in an erratic manner. A stop was initiated and Henry I. DeLeon was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, DeLeon was found to be in an intoxicated state. DeLeon performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. DeLeon was also found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Deleon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test. DeLeon submitted to Chemical Test which registered .102g% blood alcohol content. DeLeon was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

David L. Martinez, 54 years of age, address: Dixie Homes Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/25/2017 @ 10:06 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 10/31/2017 (2 Counts)

David L. Martinez was located and arrested in the area of Hwy 182 on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Martinez was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tai C. Nguyen, 17 years of age, address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/25/2017 @ 3:18 p.m.

Charges: Theft under $1,000

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a theft. During the investigation Tai C. Nguyen was identified as a suspect. Nguyen allegedly took merchandise from the business failing to pay for it. Nguyen was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jude Resignola, 22 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/25/2017 @ 7:32 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Review on 09/12/2017

Jude Resignola was located and arrested in the area of Lesley Dr. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Resignola was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

John W. Ross, 49 years of age, address: Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/25/2017 @ 8:57 p.m.

Charges: Possession of a Legend Drug

Patrol officers initiated a stop on a vehicle in which John W. Ross was identified as a passenger. According to reports, Ross was found to be in possession of suspected Gabapentin to which he could not provide a prescription for. Ross was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jose I. Rodriguez, 55 years of age, address: Laurel St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/26/2017 @ 1:12 a.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 in an erratic manner. A stop initiated and Jose I. Rodriguez was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Rodriguez was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Rodriguez was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Sharday S. Dugar, 25 years of age, address: Morrison St. Patterson, La., arrested on 11/26/2017 @ 12:45 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to the area of Leona St. in regards to a disturbance. Officer arrived and according to reports, Sharday S. Dugar was identified as one of the subject’s involved. While handling the situation Dugar began to yell and use profanities in the middle of the street. Dugar was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Galen W. Ford, 25 years of age, address: Hwy 70 Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/26/2017 @ 4:34 p.m.

MCPD Arrest Report 11/30/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 43 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 11/29/2017:

Luiny L. DeLeon, 27 years of age, address: Duke St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/29/2017 @ 8:06 a.m.

                 No Insurance

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Roderick St. when the officer noticed that the license plate displayed on a car which is commonly displayed on a truck. A stop was initiated and Luiny L. DeLeon was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, it was confirmed that the license plate displayed belong to another vehicle, the inspection sticker was expired, the vehicle was not properly insured as required by Louisiana Law. DeLeon was also found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Deleon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Kentrell F. Diggs, 25 years of age, address: Opelousas St. Donaldsonville, La., arrested on 11/29/2017 @ 8:21 a.m. 

Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation

Kentrell F. Diggs was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department and arrested on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Diggs was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated. 

Abram M. Granger Jr., 18 years of age, address: Apple St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/29/2017 @ 11:00 a.m. 

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division came in contact with Abram M. Granger Jr. in regards to an unrelated investigation. According to reports, Granger was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Granger was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated. 

Harold A. Sheets, 34 years of age, address: Everett St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/29/2017 @ 11:12 a.m. 

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 11/16/2017

Harold A. Sheets was located and arrested in the area of Florida Alley on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Sheets was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Lenny L. Steel, 34 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/29/2017 @ 8:50 p.m. 

Charges: Open Container in a Motor Vehicle
                 Fugitive-East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Railroad Ave. without the proper required brake lighting. A stop was initiated and Bridget A. Austin was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Susan M. Hudson and Lenny L. Steel were occupants. According to reports, Austin and Hudson were found to be in possession of suspected Hydrocodone and drug paraphernalia.  Additionally, Hudson and Steel were found to be in possession of open alcoholic beverages in the motor vehicle. Steel was also found to have a fugitive warrant out of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Department. Austin, Hudson, and Steel were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated. 

Kellie Boudreaux, 34 years of age, address: Shaw Drive Morgan City, La., arrested 11/29/2017 9:50 p.m. 

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 10/17/2017 (2 counts)

Kellie Boudreaux was located and arrested at the Patterson Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Boudreaux was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 135 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 11/27/2017: 

David Francois, 46 years of age, address: Barrow St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/27/2017 @ 9:15 a.m.

Charges: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 10/20/2015 (2 counts)

David Francois was located and arrested at the Assumption Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Francois was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Rogelio F. Fuentez, 32 years of age, address: Electric Lane Morgan City, La., arrested on 11/27/2017 @ 1:41 p.m.

Charges: Contempt of Court

Rogelio F. Fuentez was located and arrested at the Berwick Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Fuentez was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 39 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 11/21/2017:


Allie Arcement, 27 years of age, Address- Schriever, La. was arrested on 11/21/2017 @ 9:52 am.

Charge: Warrant- Theft under $1000.00

  Allie Arcement was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held for the department. The warrant stems from an incident in June of 2014, which alleges that Arcement had taken an item from a local drug store without paying. Arcement was booked and incarcerated.


Timothy Collier, 18 years of age, Address- Apple St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/21/2017 @ 11:00 am.

Charge:  Warrant- Theft under $1000.00

 
   Timothy Collier was located in the area of Federal Ave. and Ellzey St. A warrant check revealed that Collier held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department.   The warrant stems from an incident on November 6, 2017, in which it is alleged that Collier had taken items from a local Dollar Store. Collier was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
