Bryanshekia S. Harris, 30 years of age, address: Fifth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/15/2017 @ 6:30 p.m.

Bryanshekia S. Harris was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. Harris was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

John P. May Jr., 27 years of age, address: West Park Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/16/2017 @ 2:52 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 07/12/2016 (3 Counts)

John P. May Jr. was located and arrested in the area of Hwy 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. May was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Calie E. Anslem, 27 years of age, address: Cottonwood St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/16/2017 @ 4:43 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Cottonwood St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Robert Norris and Calie E. Anslem were identified as one of the subjects involved. According to reports, Norris allegedly damaged property belonging to another during the argument. Anslum was found to hold an active arrest warrant held by the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. Norris and Anslum were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Quincy J. Johnson , 23 years of age, address: Orange St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/16/2017 @ 5:57 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
Resisting an Officer

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to an intoxicated subject. Officers arrived and Quincy J. Johnson was identified. According to reports, Johnson was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was also found to be in an intoxicated state. Johnson began to resist officers during the arrest. He was taken into custody, and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jesus Morales-Rodelo, 24 years of age, address: Caswell Ln. Metarie, La., arrested on 12/17/2017 @ 12:00 a.m.

Charges: Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Roderick St. in a reckless manner. A stop was initiated and Jesus Morales-Rodelo was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Morales-Rodelo was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Rosanna Prejean, 39 years of age, address: Scotdale St. Lafayette, La., arrested on 12/17/2017 @ 3:15 a.m.

Charges: Introduction of Contraband into a Penal Facility

While being booked into the Morgan City Jail on unrelated charges Rosanna Prejean was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. According to reports, Prejean attempted to conceal the suspected marijuana from officers during the booking process. Prejean was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Tommy L. Harding, 28 years of age, address: Friendship Ln. Morgan City, La., arrested on 12/17/2017 @ 12:28 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Willow St. in regards to two suspicious subjects walking in the area. According to reports, the duo was overheard conversing about the narcotics they had just purchased. The two subjects were located in the area and were identified as Aubrey Daigle III and Drake Wood. Daigle and Wood were found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and Daigle was additional found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Daigle and Wood were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Leon Sylvester, 33 years of age, Address- Grizzaffi St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/13/2017 @ 4:06 pm.

Charge: Telephone Harassment
Criminal Mischief- False Emergency

The Morgan City Police Department Investigation Division along with the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division received information that an individual, Leon Sylvester had been kidnapped and was being held hostage. According to reports, a witness had received a video of Sylvester and text messages from Sylvester, which led the witness to believe the incident was true. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the incident was a prank. Sylvester located unharmed, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Melvin R. Prevot, 54 years of age, Address-Bush St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/13/2017 @ 9:48 pm.

Officers responded to a residence on Bush St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and spoke to an individual identified as Melvin Prevot. According to reports, Prevot stated that he and the other individuals in the home, Denise Jansen and Keila Bell were having a verbal altercation, which later turned physical. Officers did observe evidence that an altercation had taken place. Reports indicate that Jansen and Bell had given the same statement as Prevot about the altercation. Prevot, Jansen, and Bell were all placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 45 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 12/11/2017:

Alexis L. Robertson, 33 years of age, Address- Eleventh St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/11/2017 @ 2:40 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Theft of Under $1000.00
Warrant- Fugitive State of Texas

Alexis Robertson was located in the area of Martin Luther King Blvd. A warrant check revealed that Robertson held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in June of 2017, in which Robertson is alleged to have taken items from a local business without paying. Also, Robertson held an active warrant for the State of Texas for parole violation. Robertson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Chance J. Boudreaux, 23 years of age, Address-Railroad St Patterson, La. was arrested on 12/11/2017 3:09 pm.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Fines

Chance Boudreaux was transported from the Patterson Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the 6^th Ward City Court. Boudreaux was booked and incarcerated.

Leonard A. Yarborough, 56 years of age, Address- Egle St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/11/2017 @ 11:00 pm.

Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 2^nd Offense

No Turn Signal

A patrol officer in the area of Federal Ave and Onstead St. observed a vehicle fail to use its turn signal while turning on to Federal Ave. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Leonard Yarborough was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. It was determined that Yarborough did not have a valid license. According to reports, Yarborough appeared intoxicated. Yarborough was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, in which he performed poorly. Yarborough was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Yarborough submitted to the chemical test for intoxication and his results were .187 g% of blood alcohol content. Yarborough was booked and incarcerated.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 31 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 12/14/2017:

Caleb Landry, 17 years of age, Address- Florence St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/14/2017 @ 10:30 am.

Trey M. Derouen, 17 years of age, Address- Doris St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/14/2017 @ 10:30 am.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace – Fistic Encounters

   Officers responded to a local high school in regards to students that had been involved in a physical altercation. School officials stated that Caleb Landry and Trey Derouen were fighting in the gym area and had to be separated by the staff. Both Landry and Derouen were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Nathaniel Rollins, 21 years of age, Address- Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/14/2017 @ 9:25 am.

Warrant- No Driver’s License
Warrant- Resisting an Officer

   Nathaniel Rollins was transported from the Lafourche Parish Detention Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the department. The warrants stem from an incident on December 8, where reports indicate that Rollins was involved in a vehicle pursuit with officers and then was able to flee on foot. Rollins was booked and incarcerated.

Brittan M. Boudreaux, 33 years of age, Address- Elizabeth Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/14/2017 @ 2:00 pm.

Charge- Warrant-Failure to Appear for Revocation 2cts

Brittan Boudreaux was located on Hwy 182 near Cottonwood St.; a warrant check revealed that he held active warrants for the 16^th Judicial District Court. Boudreaux was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Ricky L. Tate, 35 years of age, Address- Irish Bend Rd. Franklin, La. was arrested on 12/14/2017 @ 10:30 pm.

Charge: Driving Under Suspension
                Improper Display of License Plate

   An officer in the area of Federal and Brashear Ave. observed a vehicle with the license plate not properly displayed and damaged. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Ricky Tate. A computer check revealed that Tate’s driver’s license was suspended. Tate was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Nicole Todd was transported from the St Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held for the 6^th Ward City Court. Todd was booked and incarcerated.

Ronald Picou, 52 years of age, Address- Karen Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/09/207 @ 9:55 am.

Ronald Picou was located in the area Sixth and Lousia St. and it was determined that Picou held an active warrant for the 6^th Ward City Court. Picou was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Frank D. Peavy, 45 years of age, Address-First St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/09/2017 @ 12:46 am.

Officers responded to a residence on Louisa St in regards to a disturbance with an individual that had previously told not to return to the residence. Officers located the individual, Frank Peavy, who was yelling and using profanities outside of the residence. According to reports, Peavy had also damaged a door inside the home. Peavy was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A patrol officer in the area of Hwy 182 and Martin Luther King Blvd observed a vehicle traveling at a rate higher than the posted speed. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Danzell Washington was asked to provide a valid driver’s license. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Washington’s driver’s license was suspended, there was no insurance on the vehicle and the license plate had been switched. Washington was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Lantrell Ayers, 26 years of age, Address-Mallard St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/10/2017 @ 9:53 am.

               No Driver’s License

      A patrol officer in the area of Mallard St. observed a vehicle driven by Latrell Ayers. The officer knowing of an active warrant on Ayers conducted a traffic stop. Ayers was placed under arrest for the warrant, which stems from an incident on December 1, 2017, where it is alleged that Ayers had taken an item from a local business without paying. Ayers also did not have a valid driver’s license and had been previously barred from all Housing Authority Property. Ayers was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
