Charges: Warrant: Domestic Abuse Battery
                 Warrant: False Imprisonment
                 Warrant: Criminal Damage to Property
                 Warrant: F.T.A. for Trial on 09/18/2017

Jordin Smith was located and arrested at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police and 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. The warrants from the Morgan City Police stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on 12/08/2017 when Smith allegedly committed a battery on the victim and prevented her to leave. Smith also allegedly damaged property belonging to the victim. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Smith’s arrest. Smith was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Christy Bordelon, 36 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 01/04/2018 @ 3:05 p.m.

                 Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle

Patrol officers responded to the area of First St. in regards to a crash. Officers arrived and Christy Bordelon was identified as the operator of the vehicle involved. Evidence was discovered during the investigation that Bordelon operated the vehicle in a careless manner. It was also found that Bordelon’s Louisiana Driver’s License was under suspension. Bordelon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

                 Resisting an Officer

Freddie Sellers was located and arrested in the area of Aycock St. on active arrest warrants held by the 16^th Judicial Court and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office. When officers came in contact with Sellers he fled on foot. Sellers was apprehended a short time later and taken into custody. Sellers was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Florence St. with improper lighting. A stop was initiated and Hope Chettiyar was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Chettiyar was found to hold active arrest warrants through the Morgan City Police Department. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on March 27, 2017, when the victim alleged that Chettiyar took several items from their residence along with a vehicle. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Chettiyar’s arrest. Chettiyar was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on April 4, 2016, when Tricia D. Grogan allegedly stole $175.00 dollars from the victim. Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Second St. with improper lighting. The vehicle was also observed negotiating an improper turn. A stop was initiated and Mark Broussard Jr. was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, the vehicle that Broussard was operating did not have proper insurance as required by Louisiana Law and he held an active arrest warrant through the 32^nd Judicial Court. Broussard was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

                 Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information

Patrol officers were at a residence in the area of Orange St. on an unrelated complaint. While there they detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the residence. Contact was made with the occupants at which time Germaine Singleton, Terrell Irvin, Charles A. Watts Jr., and a juvenile male were located. According to reports, during the investigation, Singleton committed a battery on an officer and attempted to flee the residence. Terrell Irvin was found to hold active arrest warrants through the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. Watts, who provided officers with a false name during the investigation and later identified, was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 16^th Judicial Court. The juvenile male was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Singleton, Irvin, Watts, and the juvenile male were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated. The juvenile was released to a guardian.

Derek Harrell was identified as an occupant. According to reports, McGlory’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Harrell was found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. McGlory and Harrell were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
