               Resisting an Officer

     An officer in the area of Duke St. observed a vehicle with improper lighting. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Deonta Reaux was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. A warrant check revealed that Reaux held an active warrant for the 16^th Judicial District Court. When the officer tried to place Reaux under arrest, she resisted but was later subdued. Reaux was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   A patrol officer observed a vehicle in the area of LA Hwy 182 near Florence St. disregard a red traffic signal. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Samantha Hebert was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. A computer check revealed that Hebert’s driver’s license was suspended and the vehicle was not insured. The passenger in the vehicle, Lori Guyon was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Both Hebert and Guyon were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   Danny L. Andorf, 44 years of age, Address-Susan Dr. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/07/2018 @ 12:27 pm.

Charge: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
               Possession of Stolen Property $5000-$25,000

     An officer on LA Hwy 182 observed a vehicle going faster than the posted speed limit. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Beau Boudreaux was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. It was determined that Boudreaux’s license was suspended. The passenger, Danny Andorf was asked to exit the vehicle. A computer check revealed that the vehicle Boudreaux was driving was reported stolen out of Lafayette Parish.  Boudreaux also held active warrants for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office and the 16^th Judicial District Court. Through the course of the investigation, Boudreaux was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Andorf had drug paraphernalia in his possession. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

A computer check revealed that Ferguson’s driver’s license was suspended. Also, the vehicle was not insured. A warrant check determined that Ferguson held an active warrant for the 16^th Judicial District Court. Ferguson was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   Joseph Hart was transported from the Berwick Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the department. The warrant stems from an incident in August that alleges Hart threw an individual through a glass window and that individual fell onto a small child who sustained an injury to the head. Hart was booked and incarcerated.

    Officers responded to a business on LA Hwy 182 in regards to shoplifters. Officers arrived and spoke to management who identified two individuals Quiana Ashley and Jonathan Ashley as possibly shoplifting items from the store. Officers made contact with Quiana and Jonathan inside the business. Both Quiana and Jonathan had items concealed on their person. The items totaled $39.95. Both were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
