MCPD Arrest Report 12/07/2018

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 42 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 12/06/2018:

Nicholas A. Breaux, 40 years of age, Address-Front St Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/06/2018 @ 10:30 am.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Fines (5cts)

   Nicholas Breaux was transported from the Franklin Police Department to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the 6th Ward City Court.  Breaux was booked and incarcerated.

Betty Metrejean, 54 years of age, Address-South Bay Road Pierre Part, La. was arrested on 12/06/2018 @ 2:40 pm.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear Driving Under Suspension

   Betty Metrejean was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held for the 16th Judicial District Court. Metrejean was booked and incarcerated.

Aubrey J. Daigle, 60 years of age, Address-Hwy 1012 Napoleonville, La. was arrested on 12/06/2018 @ 6:02 pm.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear Speeding

   Aubrey Daigle was located on Third St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the 16th Judicial District Court. Daigle was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration

MCPD Arrest Report 12/06/2018

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 35 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 12/05/2018:

Kacy L. Norman, 33 years of age, Address-North First St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2018 @ 8:26 am.

Charge: Warrant-Drug Court Violation (2cts)

   Kacy Norman was located at her residence on N. First St. and placed under arrest for active warrants she holds for the 16th Judicial District Court. Norman was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

George L. Adair Jr, 45 years of age, Address- School Lane Thibodaux, La was arrested on 12/05/2018 @ 8:45 am.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear for Arraignment (6cts)

   George Adair was transported from the Lafourche Parish Jail to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he holds for the 6th Ward City Court. Adair was booked and incarcerated.

Robert W. Levitt Jr, 55 years of age, Address-Portier Court Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2018 @ 10:15 am.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear for Arraignment (2cts)

   Officers responded to the parking lot of a business on LA Hwy 70 in regard to an individual that appeared to be asleep inside a vehicle. Officers arrived, located the vehicle and were able to awake the individual identified as Robert Levitt. A warrant check was done Levitt and it was determined that he held active warrants for the 6th Ward City Court. Levitt was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.  

Donald Turner, 67 years of age, Address-Adams St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2018 @ 11:30 am.

Charge: Warrant-Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling

   Donald Turner was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the department. The warrant stems from an incident in November that alleges Turner had gone into a residence and had taken several items from the home. Turner was booked and incarcerated.

Jerry Norman 12052018

Jerry L. Norman, 56 years of age, Address-Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/05/2018 @ 8:01 pm.

Charge: Possession of Sch II CDS-Methamphetamine
               Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

   Officers responded to a residence on Fourth St. in regard to a disturbance and possible illegal drug activity. Officers arrived and made contact with Jerry Norman. Through the course of the investigation, Norman was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Norman was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 52 calls for service. The following person(s) were arrested as a result beginning on 12/04/2018:

William J. Allen, 48 years of age, Address-Everett St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/04/2018 @ 4:06 pm.

Charge: Probation Violation

   William Allen was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant he held for the 6th Ward City Court. Allen was booked and incarcerated.

Justin Vosburg, 27 years of age, Address-Susan Court Morgan City, La. was arrested on 12/04/2018 @ 9:54 pm.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Probation Fees

   Justin Vosburg was located in the area of Railroad Ave. near East Blvd. A warrant check was done Vosburg and it was determined that he held an active warrant for the 6th Ward City Court. Vosburg was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Azireion K. Verdun, 19 years of age, Address- Anderson St. Franklin, La. was arrested on 12/04/2018 @ 10:50 pm.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana

    Azireion Verdun was passenger of a vehicle involved in a traffic stop on LA Hwy 182. Through the course of the investigation, Verdun was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Verdun was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
