Gilbert C. Howard, 48 years of age, address-Youngs Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/07/2018 @ 11:27 am.

Charge: Warrant-Criminal Trespass

   Gilbert Howard was located on Third St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident on November 4^th that alleges Howard was located on an individual’s property without permission. Howard was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Chasity D. Culp, 33 years of age, Address-Sixth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/07/2018 @ 2:44 pm.

Charge: Warrant-Improper Supervision of a Minor by a Parent

    Chasity Culp was placed under arrest in the City Court of Morgan City on an active warrant she held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant alleges that Culp allowed her child to have an excess amount of absences and tardiness this school year. Culp transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   Joseph Gary was located on Egle St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant for the 6^th Ward City Court. Gary was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Ashton Martinez, 19 years of age, Address-Hickory St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/07/2018 @ 4:15 pm.

Charge: Warrant-Probation Violation (2cts)

     Ashton Martinez was transported from the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center to the Morgan City Police Department for active warrants he held for the 6^th Ward City Court. Martinez was booked and incarcerated.

Louis D. Topham, 43 years of age, Address-Louisa St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/07/2018 @ 7:39 pm.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana
               Warrant-Failure to Pay Fine

              Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

    Officers were in the area of Terrebonne and Shannon St. in regards to possible illegal drug activity. Officers came into contact with two individuals identified as Louis Topham and Raphael Valentine.  During the course of the investigation, it was learned that Topham held an active warrant for the 6^th Ward City Court. Topham was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. According to reports Valentine admitted to selling Topham suspected marijuana. Officers also located drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana in Valentine’s possession. Both Topham and Valentine were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Scott J. Brown, 47 years of age, Address-Mars Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/06/2018 @ 12:24 am.

Charge: Reckless Operation of a Vehicle
               Driving While Intoxicated 3^rd Offense

    An officer in the area of LA Hwy 182 near Pecos St. observed a vehicle going higher than the posted speed limit and the vehicle was swerving in and out the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Scott Brown was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. Reports indicate that Brown appeared intoxicated. Brown was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Brown was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, but he refused. Brown was also asked to submit to the chemical test for intoxication, he again refused. A warrant was obtained to have a blood sample retrieved from Brown. Brown was transported to a medical facility for the retrieval and the results of the sample are pending. Brown was transported back to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

William J. Allen, 48 years of age, Address-Everett St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/06/2018 @ 8:53 am.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Pay Probation Fees

   William Allen was located at his residence on Everett St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the 6^th Ward City Court.  Allen was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

George B. Cain Jr, 58 years of age, Address-Pecan St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/06/2018 @ 11:23 am.

Charge: Possession of Sch II CDS-Crack Cocaine
               Possession of Sch III CDS-Alprazolam

     Officers responded to the area of First and Union St. in regards to an individual involved in illegal drug activity. A description of the individual was given out and he was located on Greenwood St. The individual was identified as George Cain. According to reports, Cain did admit to being in the area. Through the course of the investigation, Cain was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine and pills identified as alprazolam. Cain was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Dawn R. Height, 49 years of age, Address-Pecan St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 11/06/2018 @ 3:27 pm.

      Dawn Heights was located at her residence on Pecan St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant she held for the Morgan City Police Department. Height was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.
