     A patrolling officer observed a vehicle traveling on  Highway 182 by a driver who was not properly restrained.  The officer stopped the vehicle to speak with the driver, Demarcus Skipper.  While speaking with Skipper, officers observed suspected marijuana scattered about the inside of the vehicle.  The driver consented to a search of his vehicle at which time officers located a handrolled cigarette which contained suspected synthetic marijuana, a controlled substance on the driver's door.  The driver, Skipper was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. 




Adrienne S. Paul, 22 years of age, Address-Arizona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/20/2015 @ 1:11pm

     Officer located Adrienne Paul near the intersection of Marshall St. and Maple St. and placed her under arrest on outstanding warrants for the Sixth Ward judicial court.  Paul was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and released on a personal bond. 



Shenandoah S. Drury, 33 years of age, Address-Seventh St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 01/20/2015 @ 1:23pm

Charge: Simple Battery


     Officers were dispatched to the area of Fifth St. and Everette St. regarding a battery being committed.  Officers arrived to locate the victim who told officers that he was approached by Shenandoah Drury and struck by Drury.  The victim, who was not injured provided a description of the suspect.  Officers located Drury on Seventh St. He confirmed the accusations and was subsequently arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated with a bond of $692.00.

Charge: Driving Under Suspension; No Insurance; Speeding 31mph/15 mph zone

      An officer patrolling a school zone near the intersection of Federal Ave. and Brashear Ave. observed a vehicle speeding through the zone.  The vehicle was clocked by radar traveling at 31mph in a 15mph zone and stopped by the officer.  The driver, Jeremy Smith was found to be operating a vehicle with a suspended drivers license and did not have adequate motor vehicle liability insurance.  He was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated. He was released after posting a cash bond.

Charge: Remaining/Entry on Premises after being Forbid; Resisting an Officer; Felony Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance; Possession of a a Concealed Firearm by a Convicted Felon; Possession of Marijuana 5th Offense; Possession of Schedule II CDS-Hydrocodone


     An officer was dispatched to a Highway 182 business in regards to an intoxicated subject.  Officers arrived in the area and located a male subject matching the description provided.  As officers approached the subject and ordered him to stop, according to the report, the subject turned and immediately reached for his waistband and began walking away, refusing the officers instructions.  Another officer arrived  to assist and the subject was detained by both officers, placing his hands behind his back. the subject, Jonathan Motte was detained at which time officers located a loaded .380 handgun tucked inside his waistband.  The weapon was seized.  The subject was also found to possess suspected marijuana and a hydrocodone, a Schedule II CDS.  According to witnesses, Motte who had previously been banned from the property had refused to leave the business when asked by the employees and urged them to call the police.  Jonathan Motte, a convicted felon was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated with no bond yet set.

       Morgan City Police Detectives received information that a possible methamphetamine lab was located at a Highway 182 apartment complex and traveled there to investigate.  As officers attempted to make contact with the occupants of the apartment, several subjects were observed running around inside the apartment.  The officers detected a strong chemical smell along with smoke inside the room.  The subjects refused to acknowledge the officers presence.  Officers evacuated nearby apartments and made a forced entry into the apartment to ensure the safety of the suspects inside. There they discovered an active laboratory constructed for the purpose of manufacture of methamphetamine.   The subjects, Caleb Guerrero, Rebecca Guerrero and Kenneth Rollins were detained and removed from the hazardous area.  The nearby apartments and bystanders were evacuated as a precaution while investigators secured a search warrant for the premises.  Investigators with the assistance of the Morgan City Fire Department worked to ensure the safety of the scene until a hazardous materials response team arrived to dismantle and clean the scene.  The subjects, Caleb and Rebecca Guerrero, a married couple and Kenneth Rollins were arrested.  During the subsequent search of the scene, detectives located methamphetamine, a controlled substance, marijuana, items of drug paraphernalia and a small caliber .25 cal. pistol which Rebecca Guerrero identified as belonging to her.  All three subjects were found to be wanted for outstanding warrants for the St. Mary Parish Court for various charges including drug court violations.  Investigators also recovered two small birds inside the residence which had apparently succumbed to the hazardous fumes inside the residence.  They were recovered and turned over to the animal warden.  The subjects were transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they remain incarcerated with no bond yet set.

     Detectives acting on an anonymous tip located a small camper trailer located in the 8100 block of Highway 182 which was suspected of housing several subjects which were suspected of being involved in the consumption of illegal narcotics.  Investigators arrived at the location and located three male subjects inside the residence and observed suspected marijuana and items of drug paraphernalia inside.  The subjects, identified as Sean J. Dupont Jr., Dustin M. Aucoin, and Rudolph P. Aucoin Jr. were detained. Detectives secured a search warrant for the residence and as a result of the search located celophane bags which contained Heroin, a controlled dangerous substance, a Schedule V CDS-Lyrica; additional suspected marijuana and other items of drug paraphernalia.  All subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where they were booked and incarcerated.  Rudolph P Aucoin Jr. wa also found to be wanted on outstanding warrants for Criminal Neglect of Family with a combined value of over $20,000.00.  All subjects remain incarcerated. 




Davey W. Gober, 56 years of age, Address-Patterson, La. was arrested on 01/17/2015 @ 1:04am

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated 


     Davey Gober was arrested after officers were dispatched to a Brashear Ave. motel in regards to a subject causing a disturbance.  Officers arrived and located Gober in an impaired condition.  Gober was identified as the subject causing the disturbance at the front office of the motel and instructed to return to his room.  Officers received a second complaint a short time later that Gober was again causing a disturbance.  Officers arrived and placed Gober under arrest.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

     A patrolling officer located Joseph M. Price in the area of Front St. and Everette St. and placed him under arrest on outstanding warrants for the Morgan City Police Department.  Price was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and remains incarcerated.

     Officers were dispatched to a Brashear Ave. retail store in regards to a disturbance.  Officers arrived to hear a disturbance inside the store.  They entered the store to discover a female, Katherine Stoute involved in a verbal altercation with a store clerk.  Stoute was observed using profanities and yelling.  Stoute, who continued to cause a disturbance was led outside the business where she continued to create a disturbance, refusing officers requests to cease her actions and calm down.  She was subsequently arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and released after posting a cash bond.

   A patrolling officer observed a vehicle fail to yield at a stop light and attempted to stop the vehiclel to investigate.  The vehicle continued on without stopping and was observed being driven in an erratic manner.  The vehicle eventually stopped and the driver identified as Rodney Eskine who was observed to be in an impaired condition.  Eskine was found to possess open containers of alcoholic beverage in his vehicle.  He failed a field sobriety test and was placed under arrest.  He was transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he submitted to an Intoxilyzer 5000 test which indicated a blood alcohol concentration of .286g%. He was booked and incarcerated.

     Telegia Busby was arrested after officers were dispatched to a Highway 182 convenience store regarding an intoxicated subject.  Officers arrived and located Busby in an impaired condition and according to witnesses, Busby was observed knocking over merchandise in the store due to her condition.  She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where she was booked and incarcerated.
