Chief James F. Blair reports that over the 72-hour period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 114 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 06/08/2018:
Edward A. Gil, 40 years of age, address: Kimberly Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/08/2018 @8:57 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 09/18/2017
Edward A. Gil was located and arrested in the area of MLK Blvd. on an active arrest warrant held by the 16th Judicial Court. Gil was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Shenice A. Wood, 25 years of age, address: Halsey St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/08/2018 @ 10:39 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 02/01/2018
Shenice A. Wood was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Wood was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Justin Callais, 28 years of age, address: Port Royal Way Houma, La., arrested on 06/08/2018 @ 10:54 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Theft $5,000 to $25,000
Justin Callais was located and arrested in the area of Roderick St. on an active arrest warrant held by the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office. Callais was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Calvin Singleton, 35 years of age, address: Friendship Ln. Amelia, La., arrested on 06/08/2018 @ 3:58 p.m.

Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a medical emergency in the parking lot of a local establishment. Officers arrived when Calvin Singleton was identified in a vehicle with a small child. According to reports, Singleton was found to be in an intoxicated state suspected to be under the influence of some sort of narcotics. Singleton was found to be in possession of suspected Synthetic Marijuana, Marijuana, and Drug Paraphernalia. It was learned through the investigation that Singleton had operated his vehicle in a reckless manner before entering the parking lot of the local business. Singleton refused Standardized Field Sobriety and Chemical Tests. A search warrant was obtained for Singleton’s blood which is pending at the Louisiana State Police Crime Lab. Singleton was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Odie G. Nadar, 36 years of age, address: Hwy 70 Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/08/2018 @ 5:56 p.m.
Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for 501 Notice on 05/15/2018
Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 052/29/2018
Odie G. Nadar was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Nadar was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
Nicholas J. Mendoza, 30 years of age, address: Levy St. Plaquemine, La., arrested on 06/08/2018 @ 7:35 p.m.
Charges: Possession of Marijuana
Patrol officers initiated a stop on a vehicle in the area of LA 70 that disregarded a traffic control. Nicholas J. Mendoza was identified as an occupant of the vehicle. According to reports, Mendoza was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana. Mendoza was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked an incarcerated.
William Doiron III, 22 years of age, address: Oak Harbor Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/09/2018 @ 2:41 a.m.
Charges: Warrant: Possession of Marijuana W/I/T/D
Warrant: Driving under Suspension
Williams Doiron III was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division on May 06, 2018 when Doiron allegedly agreed to meet with an undercover police officer and negotiate the sale of Marijuana. Doiron proceeded to drive to the location and was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. Doiron’s Louisiana Driver’s License was also found to be under suspension. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Doiron’s arrest. Doiron was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked an incarcerated.
Felipe De Jesus Quezada-Nuno, 45 years of age, address: Keith St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/09/2018 @ 5:02 p.m.
Charges: No Driver’s License
Improper Equipment
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Victor II Blvd without proper equipment required. A stop was initiated when Felipe De Jesus Quezada-Nuno was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Quezada-Nuno was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Quezada-Nuno was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Tristan Fabre, 18 years of age, address: Hwy 400 Napoleonville, La., arrested on 06/09/2018 @ 8:10 p.m.
Charges: No Driver’s License
Improper Lane Usage
Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of US 90 in an erratic manner. A stop was initiated when Tristan M. Fabre was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to report,s Fabre was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Fabre was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 without any lighting as required. A stop was initiated when James C. Bahr was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Bahr was found to be in an intoxicated state. Bahr performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety test. Bahr’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Bahr was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he submitted to registering .180g% blood alcohol content. Bahr was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
Titus C. Trimm, 33 years of age, address: Patton St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/10/2018 @ 3:14 a.m.
Charges: Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information
Patrol officers responded to the area of Patton St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Titus C. Trimm was eventually identified. According to reports, upon initial contact with Trimm he provided a false name during the investigation. Trimm was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Dennis A. Dardar, 37 years of age, address: Texas Gulf Rd. Bourg, La., arrested on 06/10/2018 @ 4:47 p.m.
Charges: Theft under $1,000
Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a suspicious subject. During the investigation, it was learned that Dardar was in possession of stolen items from a local business in the area of LA 182. According to reports, Dardar allegedly entered the business and took the item without paying for it. The item was valued at $60.00. Dardar was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
Samuel Lacoste, 39 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/10/2018 @ 10:29 pm.
Charge: Telephone Harassment
Warrant-Failure to Appear Drug Court
Patrol officers responded to a residence on Brashear Ave. in regards to harassing phone calls. Officers arrived and made contact with the victim. Reports indicate that Samuel Lacoste had called the victim several times making threats. Officers located Lacoste in the area of Federal Ave. A warrant check revealed that he held an active warrant for the 16th Judicial District Court. Lacoste was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.
Jerry R. Forbes, 17 years of age, address: Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 06/11/2018 @ 3:09 am.
Charge: Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense

Illegal Use of CDS in Presence of Person Under 17 years of age
Officers responded to a local motel on LA Hwy 182 in regards to illegal drug activity in one of the rooms. Officers arrived and were directed to the room. Contact was made with an individual identified as Jerry Forbes. According to reports, officers could smell a strong odor of suspected marijuana emitting from the room. Officers also observed a juvenile inside the room. During the course of the investigation, Forbes did admit to having marijuana in the room and gave officers consent to search. Officers located suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Forbes was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.
