Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division began an investigation in the area of Fifth St. in regards to the illicit sales of Methamphetamine out of a residence. On Friday, July 20, 2018, a search warrant was executed on the residence. According to reports, Don R. Brown was identified. Brown was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. Evidence was uncovered that the drugs were to be sold in illicit sales. Emoen Poole was located in the residence along with three small juveniles. Poole was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Brown and Poole were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division responded to the area of General Patton St. in regards to Trey Simoneaux being at a residence and held active arrest warrants through the 16^th Judicial, Patterson, and Berwick Police Departments. Investigators arrived when Trey Simoneaux was located inside of the residence. While Simoneaux was being placed into custody investigators observed suspected Methamphetamine. A search warrant was secured for the residence. Anna V. Concienne was also identified. According to reports, Simoneaux and Concienne were found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. Concienne was further to be found in possession of Drug Paraphernalia and evidence was uncovered that the drugs were destined to be sold in illicit sales. During the course of the investigation, it was learned that a subject was to arrive at the residence with a large amount of suspected Methamphetamine. Lance M. Narcisse was identified as the subject who was to make that delivery. Narcisse arrived shortly after when he was approached by an officer. Narcisse allegedly struck the officer and attempted to push them down a stairwell and fled on foot. He was apprehended a short time later. A search of the area where Narcisse fled produced a large amount of suspected Methamphetamine that Narcisse had discarded to avoid detection by police. Narcisse was further found to be in possession of a large amount of US Currency that is believed to be derived from illicit sales. The area where these incidents had taken place are within a Drug-Free Zone. Narcisse, Concienne, and Simoneaux were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

The vehicle was observed negotiating an improper turn. A stop was initiated when Elmer D. V. Reyes was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Reyes was found to be in an intoxicated state. Reyes performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Reyes’ Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension and he was in possession of an alcoholic beverage in the motor vehicle. Reyes was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing which he submitted to registering .155g% blood alcohol content. Reyes was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Reports indicate that a 15 year old juvenile was in the vehicle at the time of the stop. Preston was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of US 90 in a reckless manner. Officers were able to catch up to the vehicle which was traveling at over 90 mph in a 60 mph zone. Officers attempted to initiate a stop when the vehicle continued to travel. The vehicle eventually stopped on US 90 when Elijah G. Percle was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Percle was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
