Joseph L. Gary, 32 years of age, Address- Terrebonne St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/22/2018 @ 7:42 am.

Officers responded to the area of Sixth and Terrebonne St. in regards to a hit and run vehicle crash. According to reports, a vehicle was properly parked in the area of Terrebonne St., when another vehicle sideswiped the parked vehicle and fled the area. A description of the vehicle was given out to officers and the vehicle was later located on Egle St. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Joseph Gary. Reports indicate that Gary admitted to crashing into the vehicle and fleeing the area. Gary’s vehicle was also found not to have proper insurance. Gary was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Yosheka B. Hayes, 31 years of age, Address-Duke St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/22/2018 @ 10:45 am.

Charge: Warrant-Failure to Appear for Criminal Mischief

Yosheka Hayes was placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department for an active warrant she held for the 6^th Ward City Court. Hayes was booked and incarcerated.

Harrison Short, 52 years of age, Address-Mallard St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/22/2018 @ 4:41 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Battery of a Dating Partner

Harrison Short was located at his residence and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in February 2018, which alleges that Short committed a battery on an individual. Short was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Destiny R. Kelley, 40 years of age, Address- Highland Rd. Baton Rouge, La. was arrested on 05/22/2018 @ 3:07 pm.

Stanley Richard, 41 years of age, Address- Colorado Ave. Kenner, La. was arrested on 05/22/2018 @ 3:07 pm.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana

   Detectives with the Morgan City Police Narcotics Division were patrolling the area of Fifth St. near Brashear Ave. when they observed a vehicle traveling in the center of the lane on Brashear Ave. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Destiny Kelley was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. A computer check revealed that Kelley’s driver’s license was suspended. During the course of the investigation, officers were given consent to search the vehicle. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Stanley Richard. Officers located inside the vehicle suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and items used to smoke illegal narcotics. Both Kelley and Richard were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

   The Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division observed a vehicle in the area of Allison St. fail to use its turn signal, while turning into a parking lot of a local business. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Zacolby Granger. According to reports, while talking to Granger, an officer noticed suspected marijuana in plain view on the passenger floorboard. A search of the vehicle was conducted and suspected crack cocaine was also found inside the vehicle. Granger was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Thalassa Frickey, 40 years of age, Address, Pecos St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/18/2018 @ 5:34 pm.

   Officers responded to a minor vehicle crash in the area of LA Hwy 182 and Myrtle St. Thalassa Frickey was identified as one of the drivers. A computer check revealed that Frickey’s driver’s license was suspended. Reports indicate that officers noticed a 3-year-old child improperly restrained in the front passenger seat of the vehicle. Frickey also held active warrants for the 16^th Judicial District Court. Frickey was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Donavan Francisco Jr., 36 years of age, Address, Robertson St. New Iberia, La. was arrested on 05/18/2018 @ 7:11 pm.

   Officers responded to a residence on Wren St. in regards to a disturbance. Donavan Francisco Jr. was identified as being involved in the disturbance. According to reports, the victim stated that she and Francisco were having a verbal altercation, which escalated to him committing a battery on the victim and threatening the victim with a knife. Officers located Francisco along with the knife outside of the residence. Francisco was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Jake M. Leger, 26 years of age, Address, N Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, La. was arrested on 05/19/2018 @ 1:56 am.

Angelle M. Price, 22 years of age, Address, Chauvin, La. was arrested on 05/19/2018 @ 2:00 am.

    A patrol officer noticed a vehicle at the intersection of LA Hwy 182 and Myrtle St. stopped at the traffic signal. According to reports, the officer noticed that the vehicle still had not moved even though the traffic signal was green. A traffic stop was conducted and the officer spoke to the passenger, Angelle Price. According to reports, Price stated that she and the driver, Jake Leger had gotten into an argument. Leger stopped at the traffic signal and exited the vehicle. Officers were able to locate Leger, who was placed under arrest. Reports state that while trying transport Leger, Price stood in front of the police unit refusing to move. Price was placed under arrest. Both subjects were transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Jose A. Melendez, 32 years of age, Address, Sebby Lane Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2018 @ 2:12 am.

Officers responded to a residence on Wren St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived and located the victim outside of the residence. According to reports, the victim stated that her boyfriend, Jose Melendez had committed a battery on her and damaged her vehicle. Officers did notice evidence that a battery had been committed on the victim. Melendez was located inside the residence and placed under arrest. Melendez was transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Troy J. Charpentier, 37 years of age, Address, LA Hwy 182 Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/19/2018 @ 11:01 am.

   An officer in the area of Victor II Blvd. and Cottonwood St. observed a disturbance between a male and female. Reports indicate that the officer observed the male grab the female by the arm. The officer made contact with the individuals and the male was identified as Troy Charpentier.   Charpentier gave the officer permission to pad him down. The officer located on Charpentier suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and suboxone. Charpentier was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Adam L. Domingue, 34 years of age, Address, New Iberia, La. was arrested on 05/19/2018 @ 4:22 pm.

Charge: Violation of Protective Order

Tiffanie Domingue, 45 years of age, Address, New Iberia, La. was arrested on 05/19/2018 @ 4:22 pm.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Offensive Language

   Officers working security at Lake End Park observed an individual using profanity and causing a disturbance. The individual was identified as Tifffanie Domingue who was told to calm down but continued to yell. According to reports, Tiffanie stated that she has a protective order against her ex-husband, Adam Domingue and both had gotten into a verbal altercation. Officers were able to verify the order of protection. Adam was located and while officers were speaking to Adam, Tiffanie continued to yell profanities. Both subjects were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Elton J. Landry, 56 years of age, Address, Federal Ave. Morgan City, La. was placed under arrest on 05/19/2018 @ 8:43 pm.

A patrol officer observed a vehicle in the area of LA Hwy 182 and Martin Luther King Blvd traveling at a speed higher than what is posted. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was identified as Roderic Clay. According to reports, the officer could smell the odor of suspected marijuana coming from the vehicle and observed an open bottle of alcohol. Officers were able to locate suspected marijuana and a pill identified as hydrocodone. A firearm was also located inside the vehicle. A computer check revealed that Clay has a prior felony conviction that prohibits him from owning a firearm.

Jonathan J. Humphrey, 37 years of age, Address, Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2018 @ 1:00 am.

     Jonathan Humphrey was a passenger in a vehicle involved in a traffic stop. Humphrey was found to have an active warrant for the 16^th Judicial District Court. Humphrey was also in possession of suspected marijuana. Humphery was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Jail for booking and incarceration.

Jared P. Loupe was located and arrested in the area of Louisa St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. When taking Loupe into custody he was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on April 3, 2018, when officers responded to the area of Louisa St. in regards to a medical emergency. Officers arrived when Loupe was identified as the one needing medical attention. According to reports, Loupe was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine, Heroin, Alprazolam, and Drug Paraphernalia. Two small children ranging from the ages of 1 to 2 were in the home when the incident had taken place. The investigation continued when warrants were prepared for Loupe’s arrest. Loupe was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Timothy Collier, 19 years of age, address: Apple St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 05/16/2018 @ 1:59 p.m.

Timothy Collier was located and arrested in the area of South Railroad Ave. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. According to reports, upon initial contact with Collier, he provided officers with a false name. Collier was eventually identified when he was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Michael P. Granger, 65 years of age, Address-Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2018 @ 2:48 am.

Charge: Simple Battery

Officers responded to a residence on Fifth St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Michael Granger was identified as the individual involved in the disturbance. According to reports, the victim stated that she was gathering her belongings in the residence when Granger committed a battery on her. There were marks on the victim consistent with her statement. Granger was located inside the residence, placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Germain Singleton, 37 years of age, Address-Orange St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2018 @ 10:26 am.

   A patrol officer in the area of Arizona and Duke St. observed an individual, Germain Singleton in the area. The officer was aware of Singleton holding active warrants for the 6^th Ward City Court. Reports indicate, as the officer approached Singleton, he began to evade the officer by running. Singleton was apprehended a short time later and placed under arrest. Singleton was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Peggy A. Fabre, 51 years of age, Address- Francis St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 05/21/2018 @ 4:32 pm.

    A patrol officer in the area of Federal and Railroad Ave observed a vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign at the intersection and driving in the center of the lane.   A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Peggy Fabre was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. A computer check revealed that Fabre’s license was under suspension. The officer also located an item commonly used to smoke illegal narcotics in Fabre’s possession. It was determined that Fabre held an active warrant for the 16^th Judicial District Court. Fabre was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Scott Reid, 56 years of age, Address-Fourth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 05/21/2018 @ 9:07 pm.

   Scott Reid was located in the area of Eighth St. Reid was placed under arrest for an active warrant held for the 6^th Ward City Court. Reid was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Leticia R. Charles, 50 years of age, Address- Mike Dr. Patterson, La. was arrested on 05/21/2018 11:09 pm.

Charge: Driving While Intoxicated 1^st Offense

   A patrol officer in the area of LA Hwy 182 and Park Rd. observed a vehicle on LA Hwy 182 without any headlights on. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Leticia Charles was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. According to reports, Charles appeared intoxicated. Charles was asked to perform the Standard Field Sobriety Test, in which she performed poorly. Charles was placed under arrest. Also, suspected marijuana was found inside the vehicle. Charles was transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Charles submitted to the chemical test for intoxication and yielded a result of .254g% blood alcohol content. Charles was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Tiger Dr. in regards to a battery that had been committed. Officers arrived when Gerald Jones Jr. was identified. According to reports, Jones allegedly committed a battery on the victim during an altercation. Jones was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a crash. Officers arrived when Walter S. Banegas-Portillo was identified as one of the operators of the vehicles involved. According to reports, evidence was found that Banegas-Portillo operated his vehicle in a careless manner which resulted in the crash. Banegas-Portillo’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension, the vehicle he was operating did not has proper insurance as required by Louisiana Law, and he held active arrest warrants through the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. Benegas-Portillo was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Brittany K. Cunningham, 23 years of age, address: Natures Way Walker, La., arrested on 05/18/2018 @ 1:15 a.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Sixth St. negotiate an improper turn. A stop was initiated when Brittany K. Cunningham was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Cunningham was found to be in possession of Drug Paraphernalia. K-9 Buddy with the St. Mary Sheriff's Office assisted with the investigation. Cunningham was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Caleb J. August, 17 years of age, address: Belanger St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 05/17/2018 @ 11:53 p.m.

Charges: Simple Burglary

Patrol officers responded to the Morgan City Police Department in regards to a subject wanting to turn himself in on a crime. Officers arrived when Caleb J. August was identified. According to reports, August admitted to burglarizing a residence on Laurel St. the day before. The Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division was currently investigating the burglary in question and August was identified as a suspect. August was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Jail where he was incarcerated.

David A. Turner, 27 years of age, address: Monarch St. Houma, La., arrested on 05/18/2018 @ 4:15 a.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Brashear Ave. in regards to an attempted burglary. Officers arrived when David A. Turner was identified. According to reports, Turner attempted to gain entry into a residence in the area of Brashear Ave. Turner was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Kristi K. Adams was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the 15^th Judicial Court. Adams was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Front St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived when Acklin S. Crochet was identified as one of the parties involved. According to reports, Crochet allegedly committed a battery on the victim by strangulation in the presence of a small child. Crochet allegedly threatened another victim that was present during the altercation. Crochet was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a residence in the area of Onstead St. David L. Vargas-Martinez was developed as a suspect during the investigation. According to reports, Vargas-Martinez was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine, Drug Paraphernalia, U.S. Currency that is believed to be derived from illicit sales. Evidence was uncovered that the suspected Methamphetamine was destined to be sold. Four juveniles were located in the residence during the execution of the warrant. The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Vargas-Martinez was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division detected an odor of marijuana in the area of Mallard St. where three subjects were standing near the trunk of a vehicle. A stop was initiated when Donzell C. Triggs, Jeaneaux F. Kenner, and Emeon Poole were identified as the three parties. According to reports, investigators observed Triggs discard suspected Marijuana in an attempt to evade detection. Triggs was also found to be in possession of suspected Synthetic Marijuana. Triggs was taken into custody and after being handcuffed the subject fled on foot. He was apprehended a short time later. Kenner and Poole were also found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and Synthetic Marijuana. Kenner was additionally found to be in possession of a stolen firearm. Kenner was found to be a convicted felon prohibiting him from possessing a firearm. The area where this incident had taken place is within a Drug-Free Zone. The trio was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.
