MCPD Arrest Report 09/08/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 35 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 09/07/2017:

Tracy A. Thomas, 49 years of age, address: Sixth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/07/2017 @ 9:15 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Cruelty to Animals

Tracy A. Thomas was located and arrested in the area of LA 70 on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on August 7, 2017, when officers responded to the area of Youngs Road in regards to an animal complaint. According to reports, during the course of the investigation, it was learned that Thomas allegedly abandoned a dog in that area. Warrants were prepared for Thomas’ arrest. Thomas was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kellie Boudreaux, 34 years of age, address: Shaw Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/07/2017 @ 12:51 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 08/15/2017

Kellie Boudreaux was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Boudreaux was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kathryn L. Blakeman, 45 years of age, address: Cypress St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/07/2017 @ 2:25 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Hit & Run
                 Warrant: Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                 Warrant: Driving under Suspension

 

Kathryn L. Blakeman was located and arrested at the City Court on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on August 02, 2017, when officers responded to the area of Sixth St. in regards to a mail box that had been struck and the vehicle had left the area. According to reports, during the investigation, Kathryn L. Blakeman was developed as a suspect. Evidence was uncovered linking Blakeman to the crime. It was also learned that Blakeman’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Warrants were prepared for Blakeman’s arrest. Blakeman was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Caleb Daigle 09082017

Caleb M. Daigle, 17 years of age, address: Levee Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/07/2017 @ 4:30 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Illegal Possession of a Stolen Firearm

Caleb M. Daigle was located and arrested in the area of Front St. on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division in regards to a Theft of a Firearm. Reports indicate during the investigation, Daigle was developed as a suspect and evidence was uncovered that placed Daigle in possession of the stolen firearm. Warrants were prepared for Daigle’s arrest. Daigle was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jasreail A. James, 33 years of age, address: Roberston St. Franklin, La., arrested on 09/07/2017 @ 9:37 p.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Adderall)
                 Possession of Marijuana
                 Possession of a Legend Drug (Baclofen)
                 Possession of a Firearm in the presence of CDS
                 Improper Lighting
                 No Insurance

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 with improper lighting. A stop was initiated and Jasreail A. James was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, James was found to be in possession of suspected Adderall, Marijuana, Baclofen, and a firearm. The vehicle was also found to be without proper insurance as required by Louisiana Law. James was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Brian J. Ott, 38 years of age, address: Mount St. Berwick, La., arrested on 09/08/2017 @ 2:54 a.m.

Charges: Driving While Intoxicated 1st Offense
                 Driving under Suspension
                 Improper Lane Usage
                 No Insurance

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 swerving from lane to lane. A stop was initiated and Brian J. Ott was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Ott was found to be in an intoxicated state. Ott performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. The vehicle that Ott was operating was found to not have proper insurance as required as Louisiana Law and his Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Ott was transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing to which Ott refused to submit to. Ott was booked and incarcerated into the Morgan City Jail.

Stephanie Yaris, 32 years of age, address: Will Ave. Greenwell Springs, La., arrested on 09/05/2017 @ 7:29 a.m.

Charles McCullough, 45 years of age, address: Pride Port Hudson Rd. Pride, La., arrested on 09/05/2017 @ 7:29 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia


Christine Cantrell, 30 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/05/2017 @ 7:29 a.m.

Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Warrant: F.T.A. for Drug Court on 07/25/2017

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Fourth St. in regards to a complaint of narcotic activity. According to reports, officers arrived and Stephanie Yaris, Charles McCollough, and Christine Cantrell were identified as suspects in the investigation. Officers located suspected Methamphetamine, Diazepam, and various items of drug paraphernalia. Evidence was uncovered linking the suspected Methamphetamine and Diazepam to Yaris along with evidence linking the trio to the items of drug paraphernalia. It was also found that Cantrell held an active warrant for her arrest through the 16th Judicial Court. Yaris, McCollough, and Cantrell were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were charged and incarcerated.

Marlen Agustin, 27 years of age, address: Belanger St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/05/2017 @ 2:50 p.m. 

Charges: 
Speeding 28 mph in a 15 mph Zone
                 No Driver’s License

Patrol officers observed a vehicle in the area of Marguerite St. traveling through the school zone area at 28 mph which was posted at 15 mph due to school zone hours. A stop was initiated and Marlen Agustin was identified as the operator of the vehicle. It was learned that Agustin did not possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Agustin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Kyle Q. Rhett, 26 years of age, address: General McArthur Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/05/2017 @ 4:17 p.m.


Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 08/29/2017

Kyle Q Rhett was located and arrested in the area of Wren St. on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Rhett was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tara Collins, 33 years of age, address: Francis St. Amelia, La., arrested on 08/31/2017 @ 11:41 a.m.

                 Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                 No Insurance

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 182 in regards to a vehicle crash. According to reports, officers arrived and Tara Collins was identified as the operator of one of the vehicles involved. Evidence was uncovered that Collins operated her vehicle in a careless manner. Collins’ Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension and the vehicle she was operating did not have proper insurance as required by Louisiana Law. Collins was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Erik B. Carter, 27 years of age, address: First St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/31/2017 @ 1:10 p.m.

Charges: Driving under Suspension
                 Improper Equipment

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Railroad Ave. with improper equipment. A stop was initiated and Eric B. Carter was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Carter’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Carter was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Dakota A. Daigle, 24 years of age, address: Second St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/31/2017 @ 2:00 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Contempt of Court

Dakota A. Daigle was located and arrested at the city court on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Daigle was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Darell J. Gash, 36 years of age, address: Hwy 182 Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/31/2017 @ 2:31 p.m.

Darell J. Gash was located and arrested in the area of Federal Ave. on an active arrest warrant held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Gash was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 32 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 09/06/2017:

Shane P. Trahan Jr., 28 years of age, address: East 8th St. Cut Off, La., arrested on 09/06/2017 @ 1:52 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana
                 Improper Turning

Patrol officers observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of Myrtle St. A stop was initiated and Shane P. Trahan Jr. was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Trahan was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana. Trahan was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Brandon D. Poole, 31 years of age, address: Garber St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 09/06/2017 @ 2:00 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 06/20/2017 (2 counts)

Brandon D. Poole was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Poole was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.


Rebecca L. Loustalot, 29 years of age, address: Anderson St. Franklin, La., arrested on 09/06/2017 @ 4:00 p.m.

Charges: Simple Battery

Officers with the Morgan City Jail responded to one of the cell blocks in regards to an altercation. According to reports, Rebecca L. Loustalot was identified as a suspect in the altercation. Reports indicate that Loustalot allegedly struck another inmate resulting in the charge. Loustalot was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

MCPD Arrest Report 09/05/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the holiday weekend the Morgan City Police Department responded to 180 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 09/01/2017:


Thomas Riley Jr., 30 years of age, Address- Roderick St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/01/2017 @ 4:21 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- Criminal Neglect of Family (St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office)

   Thomas Riley was located at his residence on Roderick St. and placed under arrest for an active warrant he held for the 16th Judicial District Court. Riley was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Ginger Russell, 40 years of age, Address- Oak Harbor Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/02/2017 @ 1:28 am.

Charge: Driving While Intoxicated- 3rd Offense
              Improper Lane Usage

  A patrol officer in the area of LA 70, observed a vehicle swerving in the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Ginger Russell was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. While the officer was speaking to Russell, she appeared to be intoxicated. According to reports, Russell admitted to taking prescribed medication.  Russell was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, in which she performed poorly. Russell was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police department, Russell was asked to submit to the chemical test for intoxication. Russell’s result yielded a .045g % BAC.  A warrant was obtained for Russell’s blood to be drawn. She was then transported to a local hospital for the procedure. Once obtaining the blood sample, Russell was transported back the Morgan City Police Department. Records indicated that Russell had two prior convictions for Driving While Intoxicated. Russell was then booked for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd Offense and incarcerated.


Phillip Skaggs, 52 years of age, Address- Maricopa, AZ was arrested on 09/02/2017 @ 7:26 pm.

Charge:  Possession of Marijuana
               Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

 

  Officers working the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival received a report of illegal narcotics being used in the area of Front and Greenwood St.  When officer arrived, contact was made with Phillip Skaggs. Skaggs was told of the complaint and according to reports, admitted to having marijuana inside of his vehicle. Officers received consent to search the vehicle and located suspected marijuana and an item used to smoke illegal narcotics. Skaggs was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


John Clark, 51 years of age, Address- Fifth St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/01/2017 @ 10:39 pm.

Charge: Remaining After Being Forbidden

  Officers working security for the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival noticed a large disturbance in the Lawrence Park area. As officers approached the area, the crowd began to disperse.  However, an individual identified as John Clark continued to yell and use profanities. Clark was told to leave the area or be arrested. A short time later, Clark was observed in the park yelling at individuals. Clark was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Randal M. Lejeune, 54 years of age, Address- Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/02/2017 @ 2:26 pm.

Charge: Warrant- Failure to Appear for Distribution of Cocaine
              Warrant- Failure to Return Leased Movables


   Randal Lejeune was located in the area of Second St. near the fairgrounds of the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival.   A warrant check revealed that Lejeune held active warrants for the 16th Judicial District Court. Lejeune was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Jordan Granger, 28 years of age, Address- N. Everett St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 098/02/2017 @ 8:32 pm.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

  Officers responded to the area of S. Everett in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and were told that Jordan Granger had come to the residence causing a disturbance. Reports indicate that Granger appeared to be intoxicated. Granger was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Lejen A. Lafleur, 18 years of age, Address- Lejunie Court Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/02/2017 @ 9:27 pm.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Use of Offensive Language

   Officers responded to the area of Front St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and noticed a group of individual that appeared to be arguing. Officers made contact with Lejen Lafleur, who was told to leave the area and to stop using profanities.  Lafleur continued to yell and use profanities, he was then placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Trey A. Duet, 18 years of age, Address- Hwy 1 Labadieville, La. was arrested on 09/02/2017 @ 10:45 pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Matthew D. Rivere, 18 years of age, Address Hwy 402 Napoleonville, La was arrested on 09/03/2017 @ 10:45 pm.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

 Officers responded to the area of Front St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and observed two individuals identified as Trey Duet and Matthew Rivere yelling and using profanities toward each other. Reports indicate that both Duet and Rivere appeared intoxicated. Duet and Rivere both were placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Jordan M. Granier, 21 years of age, Address- Hwy 307 Thibodaux, La. was arrested on 09/02/2017 @ 11:30 pm.

Charge:  Driving While Intoxicated
               Improper Lane Usage

   A patrol officer in the area of Brashear Ave, observed a vehicle swerving in the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Jordan M. Granier was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. Reports indicate that while speaking with the officer, Granier appeared to be intoxicated. Granier was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, in which he performed poorly. Granier was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once and the police department, Granier submitted to the chemical test for intoxication and yielded a result of .166g% blood alcohol content. Granier was booked and incarcerated.

Charles Lodrigue, 38 years of age, Address- Leona St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/02/2017 @ 11:30 pm.

Charge: Domestic Abuse Battery – Strangulation

   Officers responded to a residence on Leona St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. According to reports, the victim stated that she and her boyfriend, Charles Lodrigue were having a verbal altercation which later turned physical. Reports indicate that Lodrigue grabbed the victim by the neck and began to strangle her. Officers did see marks on the victim’s neck consistent with her statement. Officers located Lodrigue inside the residence, placed him under arrest and transported him to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

 
Shawn E. McCauley, 40 years of age, Address- Francis Lane Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/03/2017 @ 12:16 am.

Charge: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
              Warrant- Failure to Pay Fine

  Officers responded to the area of Third St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and made contact with an individual identified as Shawn McCauley. Reports indicate McCauley appeared intoxicated. McCauley also held an active warrant for the 6th Ward City Court. McCauley was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Dan T. Mouzakis, 54 years of age, Address- Pharr St. Berwick, La. was arrested on 09/03/2017 @ 2:21 am.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
               Resisting an Officer

   Officers responded to a local business on Fifth St. in regards to being open after hours. The premise was eventually cleared. Officers were then flagged down a by an individual identified as Dan Mouzakis. Reports indicate that Mouzakis appeared intoxicated and began yelling and using profanities. While trying to place Mouzakis under arrest, he began to pull away from officers. Mouzakis was subdued placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Russell Singleton Jr., 49 years of age, Address- Sterling Dr. Houma, La. was arrested on 09/03/2017 @ 6:06 pm.

Charge:  Possession of Marijuana
              Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
               Possession of Sch II CDS- Oxycontin
               Warrant- Failure to Appear Child Support (Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office)
               Illegal Use of CDS in Presence of Persons Under 17 years of Age

   Officers responded to a local business on Ditch Ave.  in regards to a vehicle parked at the location with possible illegal narcotics inside the vehicle.  A description of the vehicle was given out and it was located on Hwy 182. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Russell Singleton was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. Reports indicate that a strong odor of suspected marijuana was emitting from the vehicle.  Officers searched the vehicle and located suspected marijuana and pills identified as Oxycontin and drug paraphernalia.  Officers also observed a four-year-old child inside the vehicle. A legal guardian was called to pick up the child. Singleton was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Tina Franklin, 42 years of age, Address- Main St. Patterson, La. was arrested on 09/03/2017 @ 7:19 pm.

Charge:  Disturbing the Peace Use of Offensive Language
               Battery on a Police Officer (2cts)


     Officers responded to the fairgrounds of the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in regards to an individual causing a disturbance.  Officers arrived and observed a female identified as Tina Franklin yelling and using profanities. Officers tried to calm Franklin down, but she continued to scream and use profanities. Franklin then pushed one of the officers. Franklin was placed under arrest and while putting her in the patrol car, she kicked an officer. Franklin transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Vaughn R. Millien, 24 years of age, Address- Napoleonville, La. was arrested on 09/03/2019 @ 10:33 pm.

Charge: Possession of Marijuana
             Resisting an Officer by Giving False Information

 
   Officers working the fairgrounds in the area of Greenwood and First St. came into contact with an individual, who had a strong odor of marijuana emitting from his person. Reports indicate that the individual later identified as Vaughn Millien appeared nervous while talking to officers. Officers located suspected marijuana on Millien’s person. Also, during the investigation, it was determined that Millien had given officers a false name. Millien was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Scotty Adkins, 46 years of age, Address- Roderick St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2017 @ 4:18 pm.

Charge:  Remaining After Being Forbidden

  Officers responded to a residence on Fourth St. in regards to a disturbance.  According to reports, the victim stated that Scotty Adkins had been told by officers on a prior incident not to return to the residence, but had returned starting a disturbance. Officers knowing of the prior incident, located Adkins outside the residence, placed him under arrest and transported him to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Louis A. Bourque, 31 years of age, Address- Onstead St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2017 @ 12:59 am.

Charge:  Domestic Abuse Battery- Strangulation
               False Imprisonment

     Officers responded to a residence on Onstead St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. According to reports, the victim stated that her boyfriend, Louis Bourque had struck her several times, grabbed her by the neck and also would not allow her to leave the residence. Reports indicate that the victim had marks on her neck and facial area consistent with her statement. Officers located Bourque inside the residence and he was placed under arrest. Bourque transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Patrick Gaudet, 56 years of age, Address- Teche Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2017 @ 2:01 am.

Charge:  Driving While Intoxicated
               Improper Lane Usage
               Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle
              No Headlights

   A patrol officer in the area of Hwy 182 near Cottonwood St. observed a vehicle without its headlights on and swerving in the lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Patrick Gaudet was asked to produce a valid driver’s license. Reports indicate that Gaudet appeared intoxicated. Gaudet was asked to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Test, in which he performed poorly. Gaudet was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department. Once at the police Department, Gaudet submitted to the chemical test for intoxication. Gaudet results yielded .148g% blood alcohol content. Gaudet was booked and incarcerated.


Gilbert C. Howard, 47 years of age, Address- Youngs Rd. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2017 @ 3:40 am.

Charge: Warrant- Principle to Theft

   Gilbert Howard was located on Hwy 182. It was determined that Howard held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in August of 2017 in which it is alleged that Howard received items from a clerk at a local business without paying for them. Howard was placed under arrest and transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.

Carlven C. Chapman, 41 years of age, Address- Louisiana St. Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2017 @ 10:46 am.

Charge:  Domestic Abuse Battery- Child Endangerment

   Officers responded to the area of Fourth and Florida St. in regards to a domestic disturbance.   Officers arrived and spoke to the victim. According to reports, the victim stated that her boyfriend, Carlven Chapman struck in the facial area while holding their infant child. Officers observed marks on the victim and she was bleeding from her lip. Chapman was located and placed under arrest. Chapman was transported to the Morgan City Police Department for booking and incarceration.


Kirk M. Anslum, 35 years of age, Address- Morgan City, La. was arrested on 09/04/2017 @ 7:43 pm.

Charge:  Warrant- No Turn Signal
               Warrant- Possession of Methamphetamine

 

   Kirk Anslum was located by officers on Myrtle St. It was determined that Anslum held an active warrant for the Morgan City Police Department. The warrant stems from an incident in August of 2017 in which suspected methamphetamine was found in Anslum’s possession. Patrick Leblanc was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by detectives in regards to a damage to property complaint at a local business. Evidence was uncovered linking Leblanc to the crime. Warrants were prepared for Leblanc’s arrest. During his arrest, Leblanc was found to be in possession of a weapon. Leblanc was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Shaqunia M. Harris was located and arrested in the area of Park Rd. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 8, 2017, where officers responded to the area of Park Rd. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Shaqunia M. Harris was identified as one of the suspects involved. During the investigation, Harris was also found to be in possession of suspected marijuana. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Harris’ arrest. Harris was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.
