Cade Ordoyne was located and arrested at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on active arrest warrants held by the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. Ordoyne was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Lynette A. Guidry was located and arrested at the Lafourche Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a theft. Officers arrived and according to reports, Ciara V. Williams was identified as taking merchandise valued at $22.00 without paying for it. Evidence was uncovered linking Williams to the crime. Williams was also found to hold an active arrest warrant through the 16^th Judicial Court. Williams was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Sidney L. Wainwright was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on August 3, 2017, when patrol officers observed a vehicle disregard a stop sign in the area of Fifth St. The officer initiated a stop and the operator of the vehicle fled the area on foot. According to reports, during the investigation, that female was identified as Sidney Wainwright. Officers located suspected Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia that was linked to Wainwright. There were also juveniles located in the vehicle. Warrants were prepared for Wainwright’s arrest. Wainwright was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle traveling in the area of LA 182 with its bright lights activated. A stop was initiated and Austin M. Forsythe was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Forsythe was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and an open alcoholic beverage in the motor vehicle. Forsythe was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Oak St. in regards to a domestic disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Shila Mouton was identified as the suspect in the investigation. Reports indicate that the victim alleged that Mouton struck them during the disturbance. Evidence was uncovered that a battery was committed and Mouton was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Eighth St. in regards to a suspicious subject. Officers arrived and according to reports, Jacob R. Salley was identified. Salley was found to be in an intoxicated state. Salley was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Austin J. Landry was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on April 16, 2017, where the victim alleged that Landry damaged property that belonged to them. Warrants were prepared of Landry’s arrest. Landry was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

                 Open Container in a Motor Vehicle

Officers with the Morgan City Police Department and the Louisiana State Police conducted a Sobriety Check Point in the area of LA 182 in Morgan City. Officers came in contact with a vehicle at which time the officers observed an open container of alcohol. According to reports, the operator of the vehicle was identified as Walter S. Banegas-Portillo. Banegas-Portillo was found to be in an intoxicated state. Banegas-Portillo performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety. Banegas-Portillio was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test which he registered .195g% blood alcohol content. Banegas-Portillo was also found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. Banegas-Portillo was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 70 in regards to a suspicious subject. According to reports, the subject had left the area prior to officers arriving and a description of the vehicle and subject was obtained. The vehicle and subject were located a short time in the area at which time officers initiated a stop. Officers detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Officers identified Carol S. Narcisse who had exited his vehicle. Reports indicate that Narcisse resisted officers when he was taken into custody. Narcisse was found to be in possession of suspected MDMA, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Narcisse was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Collins had brandished a firearm during the altercation and threatened the victims. The firearm was located in the area and Collins was arrested. She was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a motorcycle being operated in the area of LA 182 and the license plate on the bike was not visible. A stop was initiated and Robert E. Byrd was identified as the operator of the motorcycle. According to reports, Byrd’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Byrd was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of Front St. According to reports, Timothy S. Crum was identified as the operator of the vehicle. It was found that Crum’s Louisiana Driver’s License was under suspension. Crum was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Mandy S. Wininger was located and arrested in the area of Roselawn Drive on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in June of 2017 in which Wininger was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation continued and a warrant was prepared for Wininger’s arrest. Wininger was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Candice P. Businelle was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in June of 2016 where Businelle allegedly struck the victim during a domestic disturbance. The disturbance allegedly took place in the presence of a minor child. Buisnelle was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of Federal Avenue in regards to a subject who appeared to be intoxicated. According to reports, Paige Mabe was located and identified as the subject in question. Mabe was found to be in an intoxicated state. Mabe was also found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana, Cocaine, Buprenorphine, and drug paraphernalia. The area where this incident took place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Mabe was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Shekera M. Sylvester, 37 years of age, address: Short St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/24/2017 @ 9:55 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Principal to Theft
                 Warrant: Simple Battery

Shekera Sylvester was located and arrested in the area of Short St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The first warrant stems from an investigation conducted by Detectives on 08/10/2017 in regards to the theft of merchandise valued at over $13,000 from a local business in the Morgan City Area. Sylvester was developed as a suspect and evidence was discovered linking her to the crime. Warrants were prepared for her arrest. The second warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on April 15, 2017, where the victim alleged they were struck by Sylvester at a local bar. Warrants were prepared for Sylvester’s arrest on that incident. Sylvester was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Third St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and they observed vehicles in the middle of the roadway obstructing the flow of traffic and subjects that were involved in a disturbance. Carol L. Clark and Terrence L. Johnson were identified as the subjects involved in the disturbance. Johnson’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. It was also learned that Clark held active arrest warrants through the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on April 27, 2011, when the victim alleged that Clark entered their property and committed a battery. Warrants were prepared for Clark’s arrest. Clark and Johnson were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Reports indicate that evidence was uncovered that Reyes-Padilla knew the bill was counterfeit. Reyes-Padilla was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

According to reports, Gustavo Angel Calderon-Aguilera was identified as an occupant in that vehicle. Reports indicate that Calderon-Aguilera was found to be in possession of suspected Cocaine. Calderon-Aguilera was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated-Child Endangerment Law
                 Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                 Driving under Suspension
                 No Insurance
                 No Child Restraint (3 counts)

Patrol officers responded to the area of Aycock St. in regards to a vehicle that had struck the railroad tracks. According to reports, officers arrived and Bryson Bias was identified as the operator of that vehicle. It was determined that Bias operated the vehicle in a reckless manner and his Louisiana Driver’s License was under suspension. There were also three small children in the vehicle at the time of the crash that was not properly restrained in accordance with Louisiana Law. The vehicle was found to be without any insurance. Reports indicate that Bias was found to be in an intoxicated state. Bias performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Bias was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test which he later refused to submit to. Bias was booked into the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
