MCPD Arrest Report 08/02/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 50 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 08/01/2017:

John S. Henry, 31 years of age, address: Irish Bend Rd. Franklin, La., arrested on 08/01/2017 @ 8:54 a.m.

Charges: Theft of Utilities

John S. Henry was transported from the Berwick Police Department and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Henry was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Joni R. Madison 08012017
Joni R. Madison, 37 years of age, address: Pecos St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/01/2017 @ 9:56 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
                 Warrant: Open Container in a Motor Vehicle
                 Warrant: Required Signals

Joni R. Madison was transported from the Berwick Police Department and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division on December 12, 2016, when investigators observed a vehicle switching from lane to lane failing to signal. A stop was initiated and Joni R. Madison was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Madison was found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and an open container of an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Madison’s arrest. Madison was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Raul O. Nevarez
Raul O. Nevarez, 54 years of age, address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/01/2017 @ 1:10 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Battery of Emergency Room Personnel
                 Warrant: Illegal Possession of Stolen Things

Raul O. Nevarez was located and arrested in the area of Mallard St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The first warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 24, 2017, when Nevarez allegedly committed a battery on an Emergency Room Nurse. Nevarez was already in the custody of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office on other charges, therefore, warrants were prepared for his arrest. The second warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division when Nevarez was arrested on July 30, 2017, by patrol officers. According to reports, Nevarez was found to be in possession of several construction tools. The tools were later reported stolen by the victim out of a residence in the area of Duke St. A warrant was prepared for Nevarez’s arrest. Nevarez was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Lacey M. Menard, 23 years of age, address: Victor II Blvd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/01/2017 @ 1:31 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay fine on 05/30/2017 (6 counts)
                 Warrant: Probation Violation

Lacey M. Menard was transported from the St. Landry Parish Detention Center and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Menard was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Kerry Martin, 20 years of age, address: Garber St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/01/2017 @ 3:00 p.m.

Charges: Contempt of Court

Kerry Martin was transported from the Morgan City Court after being held in Contempt of Court. Martin was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Troy M. Aucoin, 17 years of age, address: Guidry St. Berwick, La., arrested on 08/01/2017 @ 3:00 p.m.

Charges: Contempt of Court

Troy M. Aucoin was transported from the Morgan City Court after being held in Contempt of Court. Aucoin was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

James W. Minton Jr., 40 years of age, address: Glenwood St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 08/01/2017 @ 5:59 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Glenwood St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, James W. Minton Jr. was identified as being involved in a verbal altercation. Minton Jr. was found to be in an intoxicated state. Minton Jr. was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of Victor II Blvd. According to reports, investigators attempted to initiate a stop and the operator of the vehicle failed to comply. The vehicle continued to travel and flee from investigators when it turned into Brownell Homes. The vehicle then began traveling at higher speeds and operate in a reckless manner running stop signs. Two subjects fled from the vehicle on foot at which time investigators gave chase of the subjects. After a short foot chase, the operator of the vehicle was apprehended and identified as Leroy Davis III. The passenger of the vehicle was also apprehended and identified as Blake Smith. Davis’ Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension and it was learned that he held active warrants for his arrest through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Blake Smith was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and it was learned that he held several active warrants for his arrest held by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, 16th Judicial Court, and 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Both Davis III and Smith were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

MCPD Arrest Report 07/31/2017

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 72-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 106 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 07/28/2017:

Jessica L. Fears, 33 years of age, address: Roderick St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/28/2017 @ 7:02 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Patrol officers responded to the area of Roderick St. in regards to an unrelated complaint. Officers arrived and Jessica Fears was at the location. According to reports, Fears was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. Fears were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Travis Hayes, 38 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/28/2017 @ 9:25 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace

Patrol officers responded to a local motel in the area of LA 182 in regards to a narcotics complaint. According to reports, officers arrived and Travis Hayes was identified. While speaking with officers Hayes began to cause a disturbance in the parking lot by yelling and using profane language. Hayes was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

                 Failure to Dim Bright Lights

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Federal Ave with the bright lights activated while passing other vehicles. A stop was initiated and Kierra Johnson was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Johnson’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Tyla M. Domingue, 28 years of age, address: Belle River Rd. Pierre Part, La., arrested on 07/29/2017 @ 2:30 a.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1st Offense
                 Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
                 Possession of SCH II CDS  (Adderall)

Patrol officers responded to the area of Railroad Ave. in regards to a vehicle that had crashed into a ditch. Officers arrived and Tyla M. Domingue was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Domingue was found to be in an intoxicated state. Domingue performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Domingue was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test. Upon arrival to the Morgan City Jail Domingue submitted to Chemical Tests which resulted in .202g% blood alcohol content.  During the booking process, Domingue was found to be in possession of suspected Adderal which she did not have a prescription for. Domingue was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Juan Torres 07282017
Juan Torres Jr., 28 years of age, address: Stacy St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/29/2017 @ 1:44 p.m.

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at a local motel in the area of LA 182. According to reports, Michelle R. Chapman and Juan Torres Jr. were identified as suspects in the investigation. Reports indicate investigators located suspected Methamphetamine, suspected Alprazolam, suspected Oxycodone, suspected Carisoprodol, suspected MDMA, suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Evidence was uncovered linking Chapman to the suspected Alprazolam, Oxycodone, Carisoprodol, MDMA, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Investigators also uncovered evidence that some of the Methamphetamine was destined to be sold on the streets and linked to Chapman. Investigators also found Torres Jr. to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia. Chapman and Torres Jr. were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Javier Santos, 44 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/29/2017 @ 4:32 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated
                 Warrant: F.T.A. to Pay Fine on 06/27/2017 (2 counts)

Patrol officers responded to the area Greenwood St. in regards to suspicious subjects under the bridge. According to reports, officers arrived and Javier Santos and Scott Reid were located under the bridge. Santos and Reid were both found to be in an intoxicated state. It was also learned that Santos held active warrants for his arrest through the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Santos and Reid were both arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Robert M. Sizemore III, 28 years of age, address: Ann St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/29/2017 @ 4:53 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of SCH III CDS (Suboxone)

Robert M. Sizemore III was located and arrested in the area of Ann St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 16th in which Sizemore III was found to be in possession of suspected Suboxone. According to reports, Sizemore III stated that he had a prescription for the medication. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Sizemore’s arrest when he did not provide proof of the prescription. Sizemore III was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Raul O. Nevarez, 54 years of age, address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/30/2017 @ 8:07 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated

Patrol officers responded to the area of Victor II Blvd in regards to a suspicious subject. According to reports, officers arrived and Raul O. Nevarez was identified. Nevarez was found to be in an intoxicated state. Nevarez was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tonya Conner 07262017
Tonya J. Conner, 35 years of age, address: Derrick St. Pierre Part, La., arrested on 07/26/2017 @ 9:35 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Theft of a Motor Vehicle

Tonya Conner was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active warrant for her arrest through the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 24th in regards to a Theft of a Motor Vehicle. According to reports, Conner and the victim were negotiating the sale of the vehicle at a local notary service. The victim stated that the vehicle would not be sold until payment was made. Conner allegedly refused to make the payment when the victim stated that they wanted possession of the vehicle. Conner allegedly refused and drove away from the business in the vehicle. The vehicle was located by the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office and warrants were prepared for Conner’s arrest. Conner was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

June F. Hedges, 49 years of age, address: South Bay Rd. Pierre Part, La., arrested on 07/26/2017 @ 6:20 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Disturbing the Peace

June F. Hedges was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on an active arrest warrant held by the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in regards to a disturbance that occurred at the Morgan City Recreation Complex. According to reports, Hedges was involved in a verbal altercation with the victim at the public venue. Warrants were prepared for Hedges’ arrest. Hedges was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Jennifer Watts 07262017

Jennifer Watts, 42 years of age, address: N. Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, La., arrested on 07/26/2017 @ 10:40 p.m.

Charges: Possession of Marijuana W/I/T/D
                 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
                 Transaction involving Proceeds from Drug Activity

Patrol officers responded to a business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a narcotics complaint. According to reports, prior to officers arriving in the area information was developed that the suspects had left the area in a vehicle. A description of this vehicle was obtained which was located a short time later in the area. A stop was initiated and Noel Naverro and Jennifer Watts were identified as passengers in the vehicle. Reports indicate that officers detected an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. It was learned that Naverro held active warrants for his arrest through the Morgan City Police and 6th Ward Morgan City Court. During the investigation, Watts was found to be in possession of several bags of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia,  and US Currency. Naverro allegedly admitted that the suspected marijuana was for him and that it was destined to be sold. Officers also believed that the US Currency located was derived from the illicit sales of illegal narcotics. The warrant for Naverro’s arrest stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on February 28th when Naverro provided a false name to officers. Warrants were prepared for Naverro’s arrest after he was identified. Naverro and Watts were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where they were booked and incarcerated.

Craig Hebert, 39 years of age, address: Poplar St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/27/2017 @ 2:13 p.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1st Offense

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 in a careless manner. A stop was initiated and Craig Hebert was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Hebert was found to be in an intoxicated state. Standardized Field Sobriety was refused by Hebert at which time he was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test. Hebert also refused the Chemical Test. Hebert was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Donna Resignola 07312017
Donna Resignola, 42 years of age, address: Lesley Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/31/2017 @ 10:00 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Forgery

Donna Resignola turned herself into the Morgan City Jail on an active arrest warrant through Morgan City Police. According to reports, the warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in May of 2017 when the victim alleges Resignola forged their name on a check valued at $50.00. The victim filed charges and a warrant was prepared for Resignola’s arrest. Resignola was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Libis D. Flores-Orellana, 35 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/31/2017 @ 11:32 a.m.

Charges: No Driver’s License
                 Speeding 38 mph in a 25 mph zone
                 Improper Passing

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Federal Ave. passing vehicles in an improper manner. The vehicle was also observed being operated 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. A stop was initiated and Libis D. Flores-Orellana was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Flores-Orellana was found not to possess a valid driver’s license. Flores-Orellana was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Lydia J. Cruz, 31 years of age, address: Brashear Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/31/2017 @ 2:13 p.m.

Alec G. Race Jr., 46 years of age, address: Chennault St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/31/2017 @ 1:45 p.m. 

Charges: Possession of SCH II CDS (Methamphetamine)
                 Entry or Remaining where Forbidden

Patrol officers responded to a business in the area of Railroad Ave. in regards to a trespassing complaint. According to reports, officers arrived and learned that Alec G. Race Jr. returned to the property after being told not to by the owner. Race Jr. was also found to be in possession of suspected Methamphetamine. Race Jr. was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Blake Dinger, 24 years of age, address: Aycock St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/31/2017 @ 5:55 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: F.T.A. for Arraignment on 04/03/2017

Blake Dinger was located and arrested in the area of Aycock St. on active arrest warrants held by the 16th Judicial Court. Dinger was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Chief James F. Blair reports that over the last 24-hour reporting period the Morgan City Police Department responded to 39 calls for service. The following persons were arrested as a result beginning on 07/27/2017:

Tommy D. Morgan, 27 years of age, address: Belanger St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/27/2017 @ 9:45 a.m.

Charges: Warrant: Probation Violation

Tommy D. Morgan was transported from the Lafayette Parish Detention Center and arrested on active arrest warrants held by the 6th Ward Morgan City Court. Morgan was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Teirra N. Gollmer, 19 years of age, address: Field Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/27/2017 @ 3:45 p.m.

Charges: Contempt of Court

Tierra N. Gollmer while attending court proceedings allegedly caused a disturbance within the court room. Gollmer was held in Contempt of Court. Gollmer was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Carlton P. Moncada, 58 years of age, address: Karen Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/28/2017 @ 7:45 a.m.

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area Victor II Blvd. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports, Carlton P. Moncada was identified as a suspect. Reports indicate that Moncada was found to be in an intoxicated state and continued to cause a disturbance and use profanities in the presence of the officers. Moncada was placed under arrest and when officers were taking him into custody he began to resist officers. Moncada was taken into custody and transported to the Morgan City Jail. It was learned that Moncada also held active warrants for his arrest through the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers when a vehicle being operated by Moncada was observed negotiating an improper turn in the area of Fifth St. A stop was initiated and reports indicate that Moncada was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Moncada’s arrest. Moncada was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Kayla M. Fryou, 25 years of age, address: General Hodges, Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/28/2017 @ 2:33 a.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1st Offense
                  Improper Turning

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 negotiate an improper turn. A stop was initiated and Kayla M. Fryou was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Reports indicate that Fryou was found to be in an intoxicated state. Fryou performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. She was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing. Fryou submitted to Chemical Test which resulted in .224g% blood alcohol content. Fryou was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.
