Jalen D. Allen, 24 years of age, address: Federal Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 10:27 a.m.

Jalen D. Allen was located and arrested at the Lafayette Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from two separate investigations. The first warrants are in connection to an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Detectives Division that began June 4, 2017, in regards to an attempted introduction of contraband into a penal facility. During that investigation suspected marijuana and tobacco were recovered and Allen was identified as a suspect. Evidence was uncovered linking Allen and warrants were prepared for his arrest. The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Allen is the fourth arrest in this investigation. The second warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on June 23, 2017, in regards to a forgery. According to reports, Allen was identified in this investigation and allegedly cashed a check belonging to a local company that was allegedly stolen. Evidence was uncovered linking Allen to this crime and warrants were prepared for his arrest. Allen was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Asia Piggot, 21 years of age, address: Carol Rd. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 12:15 p.m.

Charges: Disturbing the Peace
Warrant: Possession of Marijuana

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of Seventh St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports, Asia Piggot was identified as a suspect in the disturbance. Warrants check revealed that Piggot held an active warrant for her arrest through the Morgan City Police. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in January of 2015 when officers responded to the area of Sixth St. in regards to a vehicle crash. During the investigation, Piggot was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Suspected marijuana was located and seized pending further investigation. Evidence was uncovered linking Piggot to the suspected marijuana. Warrants were prepared for Piggot’s arrest. Piggot was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Manuel L. Arnouville, 45 years of age, address: Bayou Black Dr. Gibson, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 2:08 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Victor II Blvd in regards to a suspicious subject. Officers arrived and according to reports, Manuel L. Arnouville was identified as a suspect in question. Reports indicate that Arnouville was found to be in an intoxicated state. Warrants check revealed that Arnouville held an active arrest warrant through the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. Arnouville was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Timothy Collier, 18 years of age, address: Honey Ln. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 2:32 p.m.

Timothy Collier was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 14, 2017, when officers responded to a local hotel in the area of LA 182 due to a complaint of telephone harassment. According to reports, officers arrived and Collier was identified as a suspect. Reports indicate that Collier began threatening the victim via text message. Warrants were prepared for Collier’s arrest. Collier was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Raul O. Nevarez, 54 years of age, address: Mallard St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 4:52 p.m.

Charges: Obscenity

Patrol officers responded to the area of Brashear Ave. and Front St. in regards to a male subject exposing himself. According to reports, officers arrived and Raul O. Nevarez was identified as a suspect. Reports indicate that a witness observed Nevarez expose himself in the presence of patrons which included children in the area. Nevarez was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Abel K. Garza Jr., 27 years of age, address: Carmen St. Patterson, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 9:39 p.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Second St. that disregarded a stop sign. A stop was initiated and Abel K. Garza Jr. was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Garza Jr. did not possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License. A warrant check revealed that Garza held an active warrant for his arrest through the 16^th Judicial Court. Garza was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Mandi Hatfield, 30 years of age, address: Florence St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 11:41 p.m.

Mandi Hatfield was located and arrested in the area of LA 70 on active arrest warrants held by the 16^th Judicial Court. Hatfield was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Miguel Amador, 41 years of age, address: Bowman St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 11:41 p.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of LA 70. A stop was initiated and Miguel Amador was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Amador’s Louisiana Driver’s License was under suspension. Amador was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Arkansas St. in regards to a disturbance. According to reports, officers arrived and Jeric J. Bias was identified as a suspect. Bias allegedly caused a disturbance while at the residence. Bias was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrols officers responded to a local hotel in the area of LA 182 in regards to a narcotics complaint. According to reports, officers arrived and Brandon Gaudet was identified as a suspect. Gaudet was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Gaudet was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Anna Sauseda, 34 years of age, address: Clements St. Patterson, La., arrested on 07/18/2017 @ 2:45 p.m.

Jeric J. Bias, 41 years of age, address: Arkansas St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2017 @ 8:38 a.m.

Correctional Officers with the Morgan City Jail responded to the cell block in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and Jeric J. Bias was identified as a suspect involved in the disturbance. According to reports, it was learned that Bias had struck another inmate during the altercation. Bias was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Jail where he was incarcerated.

Jonathan Louis Davila-Campuzano, 30 years of age, address: Grand Caillou Rd. Houma, La., arrested on 07/21/2017 @ 9:32 a.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of US 90 with improper equipment. A stop was initiated and Jonathan Louis Davila-Campuzano was identified as the operator of the vehicle. During the investigation, it was learned that the vehicle that Davila-Campuzano was operating did not have up to date registration and he did not possess a valid driver’s license. Davila-Campuzano was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Tara L. Harford, 34 years of age, address: Fourth St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2017 @ 4:01 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to a residence in the area of Fourth St. in regards to a complaint of narcotic activity. Officers arrived at the residence and Tara L. Harford was identified as a suspect. According to reports, Harford was found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The area where the residence was located was within a Drug –Free Zone. Harford was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Michael W. Forristal, 45 years of age, address: Honey Ln. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2017 @ 5:32 p.m.

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of Brashear Ave. in regards to a subject who was non-responsive. According to reports, officers arrived and Michael W. Forristal was located sleeping at a table. Officers were able to wake Forristal and he was found to be in an intoxicated state. Forristal was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Shanita Evans, 39 years of age, address: Oak St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/21/2017 @ 7:30 p.m.

Shanita Evans arrived at the Morgan City Jail to serve time as ordered by the Morgan City Court. According to reports, during the process of booking Evans was found to be in possession of tobacco and sleep aid medicine hidden on her person. Evans was arrested and booked into the Morgan City Jail where she was incarcerated.

Chaz M. Rebardi, 22 years of age, address: Mill Rd. Patterson, La., arrested on 07/21/2017 @ 11:30 p.m.

Chaz M. Rebardi was located and arrested in the area of LA 182 on active arrest warrants held by the 16^th Judicial Court. Rebardi was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Jason J. Connolly, 27 years of age, address: Sawmill Rd. Harahan, La., arrested on 07/22/2017 @ 5:25 p.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of US 90 in an erratic manner switching from lane to lane and following other vehicle too close. The vehicle was also observed crossing the outer line on US 90. A stop was initiated and Jason J. Connolly was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, during the encounter with officers Connolly began acting in a suspicious manner and became very nervous. Connolly denied consent to search the vehicle at which time the Morgan City Police Department K-9 Division responded to assist. Once the K-9 Division arrived K-9 Lady was deployed to conduct a free air sniff of the vehicle. K-9 Lady showed odor response to the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle officers located suspected cocaine, suspected marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Connolly was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Dearius D. Kenner, 29 years of age, address: Grace St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/23/2017 @ 4:36 p.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Ditch Avenue and the operator was known to the officer as Dearius D. Kenner. The officer had knowledge that Kenner held active warrants for his arrest. A stop was initiated on the vehicle and the vehicle that Kenner was operating had a license plate that belong to another and Kenner’s Louisiana Driver’s License was under suspension. Warrant checks revealed that Kenner held warrants through the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court and the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office. Kenner was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Toya C. Gray, 37 years of age, address: Cypremort Rd. Franklin, La., arrested on 07/23/2017 @ 9:25 p.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Federal Ave. negotiate an improper turn onto Brashear Ave. While traveling on Brashear Ave. the vehicle was observed swerving from lane to lane crossing the center line. A stop was initiated and Toya C. Gray was identified as the operator the vehicle. According to reports, Gray was found to be in an intoxicated state. Officers also located open alcoholic beverages in the vehicle. Gray performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test at which time she was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing. Once at the Morgan City Jail Gray submitted to Chemical Test which resulted in .114g% blood alcohol content. Gray was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

William C. Richards, 26 years of age, address: S.W. County Rd Lake City, FL, arrested on 07/24/2017 @ 2:42 a.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1^st Offense

Patrol officers responded to a local business in the area of LA 182 in regards to a disturbance. Prior to officers arriving the suspects left the area in a vehicle. A description of that vehicle was obtained and it was located a short time later in the area of LA 182. A stop was initiated and William C. Richards was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Richards was found to be in an intoxicated state. Richards performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Richards was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test. Once at the Morgan City Jail Richards submitted to Chemical Test which resulted .118g% blood alcohol content. Richards was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Williams S. Deans Sr. was located and arrested at the Morgan City Court on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. The warrants are from two separate incidents and stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 15, 2017. According to reports, the victim alleges that Deans Sr. sent threatening messages via telephone. The second warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers on July 17, 2017, where the victim alleges that Deans Sr. threatened them via telephone. Prior to both incidents, a Protective Order was in effect. Evidence was uncovered during the investigation that corroborated the allegations. Warrants were prepared for Deans Sr. arrest. Deans Sr. was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Germany Broussard, 37 years of age, address: Leona St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/19/2017 @ 9:24 p.m.

According to reports, officers arrived and Germany Broussard was identified as a suspect involved in the disturbance. Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Fifth St. fail to stop at a stop sign. A stop was initiated and a female subject who was operating the vehicle fled the scene on foot. Quandon Favors , Lawrence A. Garrett, and a juvenile were located as occupants of the vehicle. According to reports, Quandon Favors, Lawrence A. Garrett, and the juvenile were found to be in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. All three subjects were arrested and transported to the Morgan City Police Department where Favors and Garrett were booked and incarcerated. The juvenile was processed and released to a guardian. The investigation is ongoing in regards to the operator of the vehicle.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle in the area of LA 182 swerving from lane to lane several times. A stop was initiated and Chuck M. Newsom was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Reports indicate that Newsom was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana. There was also a small juvenile in the vehicle. Newsom was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Second St. negotiate and improper turn and traveled down the center of the roadway. It was also observed that the vehicle’s license plate was registered to another. A stop was initiated and Tanner W. Beglau was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Reports indicate that Beglau’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. The vehicle Beglau was operating was also found not to have any insurance as required by Louisiana Law, was not registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles, had an expired inspection sticker, and the windshield was in an condition that would obstruct the driver’s view. Beglau was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Harold A. Sheets, 33 years of age, address: Everett St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 07/18/2017 @ 2:13 a.m.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Sixth St. without any headlights activated. A stop was initiated and Harold A. Sheets was identified as a passenger of the vehicle. According to reports, Sheets was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana. Sheets was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
