Bradley S. Williams was located and arrested at the Lafayette Parish Detention Center on active arrest warrants held by the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. Williams was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of Maple St. in regards to a disturbance. Officers arrived and according to reports Mark Hash had operated his vehicle in a reckless manner and blocked the roadway continuing to cause a disturbance with the alleged victim. Hash was advised that he was under arrest at which time he began to resist officers. Hash was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Zachary M. Crappell, 24 years of age, address: North First St. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/22/2017 @ 3:22 p.m.

Charges: Warrant: Possession of Marijuana
                  Warrant: Violation of Uniform CDS Law (Drug-Free Zone)

Zachary M. Crappell was located and arrested at the Morgan City Court on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police. According to reports, the warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division in April of 2017 where Crappell was found to be in possession of suspected Marijuana in the area of Aucoin St.  The area where this incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Crappell’s arrest. Crappell was transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of LA 182 with improper lighting. A stop was initiated and Greig M. Jacquneaux was identified as the operator of the vehicle. Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division observed a vehicle negotiate an improper turn in the area of Federal Ave. A stop was initiated and Kimber N. Thompson was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Thompson displayed signs of nervousness. An officer with the Morgan City Police Department K-9 Division assisted in the investigation. K-9 Lady was deployed on the vehicle and indicated to the presence of narcotic odor. A search of the vehicle produced suspected Methamphetamine, suspected Vyvanse, suspected Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Reports indicated that Thompson acknowledged that she knew about the items located. Thompson was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Tracy A. Thomas was located and arrested in the area of Orange St. on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police and 16^th Judicial Court. The warrant from the Morgan City Police stems from an investigation conducted by Detectives in regards to a theft. According to reports during the investigation, Thomas was identified as a suspect in taking merchandise valued at $43.68 from a business in the area of LA 70. Thomas was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle conduct an improper turn in the area of Belanger St. A stop was initiated and Justin D. Price was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, officers located suspected marijuana. Price’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension and the vehicle he was operating was no properly insured as required by Louisiana Law. Price was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers observed a vehicle being operated in the area of Victor II Blvd and the operator was not properly restrained. A stop was initiated and Nikita D. Smith was identified as the operator. According to reports, Smith’s Louisiana Driver’s License was found to be under suspension. During the investigation Smith began yelling profanities in the area of an open business. Smith was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers responded to the area of US 90 in regards to a vehicle being operated in a reckless manner. A description of the vehicle was obtained and officers arrived locating the vehicle in the area. The vehicle was observed swerving from lane to lane. A stop was initiated and Jose G.T. Garcia was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Garcia was found to be in an intoxicated state. Garcia performed poorly on Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Garcia was found not to possess a valid Louisiana Driver’s License and several children were in the vehicle. Garcia was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Test for Intoxication. Upon arriving at the Morgan City Jail Garcia submitted to chemical test which registered .124g% blood alcohol content. Garcia was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Edgar A. Detrinidad-Navas, 60 years of age, address: Railroad Ave. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/18/2017 @ 2:20 a.m.

Charges: Driving while Intoxicated 1^st Offense

Patrol officers responded to the area of Railroad Ave.  in regards to a crash. Officers arrived and Edgar A. Detrinidad-Navas was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports Detrinidad-Navas was found to be in an intoxicated state. Detrinidad-Navas was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail for Chemical Testing for Intoxication. Upon arrival to the Morgan City Jail Detrinidat-Navas submitted to chemical test which registered .221g% blood alcohol content. Detrinidat-Navas was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Kirk Tappin, 47 years of age, address: McDermott Dr. Morgan City, La., arrested on 06/18/2017 @ 4:19 p.m.

Charges: Domestic Abuse Battery
                  Warrant: F.T.A for Arraignment on 09/26/2016

Patrol officers responded to the area of LA 70 in regards to a complaint of a battery that had been committed.  Officers arrived and spoke with the victim. According to reports, the female displayed injuries that were consistent with a battery being committed. Kirk Tappin was identified as a suspect. Patrol officers located Tappin at a residence on McDermott Dr. Tappin was found to have active warrants for his arrest held by the 16^th Judicial Court. Tappin was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

Heather B. Durapau was located and arrested at the Morgan City Police Department on active arrest warrants held by the Morgan City Police and the 6^th Ward Morgan City Court. The warrants from the Morgan City Police stem from an investigation conducted by Narcotic Detectives in January of 2017 where a vehicle was observed making an improper turn in the area of Sixth St. A stop was initiated and Heather B. Durapau was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Durapau was found to be in possession of suspected Buprenorphine Hydrochloride, suspected Marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. A warrant was obtained for Durapau’s arrest. Durapau was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

Richard was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Patrol officers conducted an investigation on June 01,  2017 in regards to a Forgery. Officers arrived and Marilyn Guarisco was identified as a suspect. According to reports, Guarisco had allegedly forged the victims signature on checks totaling $6,575.00 and cashed them at the bank. Warrants were obtained for Guarisco’s arrest. Guarisco was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

While court proceedings were conducted at the Morgan City Court Juaune E. Stelly began to cause a disturbance in the courtroom disrupting the proceedings. According to reports, Stelly began to use profanities towards the judge. After being held in Contempt of Court several different times Stelly was arrested and removed from court proceedings. She was transported to the Morgan City Jail where she was booked and incarcerated.

Investigators with the Morgan City Police Department Narcotics Division observed a vehicle fail to stop at a red light in the area of LA 182. The vehicle was observed traveling down the center of LA 182. A stop was initiated and Michael P. Stewert was identified as the operator of the vehicle. According to reports, Stewert was found to be in possession of Testosterone Propionate, Testosterone Enanthate, Drostanolone Enanthate, and drug paraphernalia.  It was also found that Stewert did not possess a Louisiana Driver’s License. Stewert was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.

The warrants stem from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in which suspected Methamphetamine was located during a traffic stop in the area of Federal Ave that was linked to Aucoin. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Aucoin’s arrest. Aucoin was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by patrol officers in April of 2017 in regards to damaged property at a local business in the area of Brasaher Ave.  According to reports Juan R. Torres Jr. was linked to that crime. The investigation continued and warrants were prepared for Torres arrest. Torres was booked into the Morgan City Jail and incarcerated.

The area where the incident had taken place was within a Drug-Free Zone. Jones was arrested and transported to the Morgan City Jail where he was booked and incarcerated.
